CHAPTER 16: REACTIONS.

Third Person's POV.

The floor-to-ceiling window panes glittered with a rainbow spectrum as the sun shone its evening pink-orange glow across their length. On the other side of the windows stood a tall man, his broad shoulders taut, and his hands in his pocket. He squinted as the reflection from the glasses hit his face. The quiet in the room was so deafening, you could hear every one of his breaths.

Zeeshan was having a crisis. His head ached from squinting into the sun for so long, his face burning from all the heat. He clenched his hands into fists when he thought about the most crucial factor. Ayesha.

He hadn't seen her since the previous morning when they had had breakfast together with his mother. He wondered if it was his mother's questions that drove her to insist on moving from his family home. Her brother had given no hint as to why his decision had changed so suddenly. He knew this because he saw his aunt glaring at Parvaiz during dinner and again at breakfast.
