Third Person's POV.

Ayesha was not shocked by the question, having been a victim of it a couple of times, but she wasn't expecting it to be brought up at the breakfast table either. She glanced from mother to son and decided that a neutral response would get her the escape she needed.

"I haven't given it much thought. Although I had always known that I was going to marry a man of my parents' choice. I guess it depends on my brother who I marry now. I do trust him the most, you know. And he is the only family I am left with. "

"Hmm," she heard Zeeshan's mother hum.

Before the woman could get any more weird questions to ask, Ayesha finished the last morsel on her plate and got up from the dining table.

"Thank you for the breakfast." She quietly muttered while picking up her plate.
