Ning Furong received her punishment and was carried back to the prime minister's residence. However, before she could take a break, she heard about what happened in the palace.
All the people that she placed beside the empress were swooped. Not a single person was left out. The rest of the people were not changed but they could never get close to the Yangxin Hall again.
