Chapter 68
As dark coated the sky, they were given a show from the auroras so common to that area. They sat, sipping coffee and watching the curtains of light shimmering across the horizon.
When Todd stood and stretched, he held out one hand to Nick and hoisted his mate out of the chair.
“I think I’ll sit out here a while longer. You two have a good night,” Dr. Porter said.
“Are you sure? We can stay out here longer if you’d like,” Todd said.
“No. I like the quiet and solitude. Gwen loved watching the lights. We’d sit out here all night sometimes. But I promise not to be that long,” Porter said.
Nick started peeling Todd’s clothes off once they were in their bedroom. A few minutes later, Nick’s clothes joined his mate’s, strewn across the floor. Todd’s mouth moved over Nick’s heated skin. Nick reached back and grabbed the headboard Todd had made for them, one long, low moan after another rolling up from his chest.
