CHAPTER 6

“Who are you?” Kala asks. Ari unable to comprehend the dramatic entrance of Kala’s doppelganger.

“You don’t remember me do you, my love? Let me jog your memory.” She teleports towards him, in a flash, placing both hands at the sides of his head. Ari begins to see images of him in the past, and then suddenly the cause of his death was made known to him. He gasps coming out of his trance; regaining his memories.

“Jasiri”, he says. She smiles back at him.

“How could this be?” He looks at Kala.

“It’s a gift I left behind for us both. She is not yours to have. Come with me my love.” Jasiri says.

“Who’s the voodoo Queen?” Kala asks.

“She was my Fiancée. You killed me! Stay away from me both of you.” He screams, pushing Kala away.

“Me? I wasn’t even in existence by the time of your death.” Kala says, with her face soaked with pool of surprises.

Jasiri calls to him “come now with me, my love.”

“Never.” Ari says.
