<p>Seeing the few zombies on the main gate Alex got up on the hatch on the roof of the APC and shot 5 times killing 5 zombies with headshots seeing no more in the vicinity luckily the gated community has high steel bars all around after all people pay to live in gated communities for the security going into the gated community Chris and his wife Janet we're both shocked by the tranquility in here there were no roars or gun shots just tranquil the houses looked abandoned expect for a small few who had old people incapable of fleeing Janet couldn't contain her curiosity any longer and asked Alex "Alex these houses seem abandoned did you buy this entire gated community what about the old people left here and I know Appleton pretty well and I know there is a couple farms around the area" said Janet as Alex just looked at Chris who had an embarrassed face and said "first I did not buy this gated community everyone just left either to an army base as refugees the wilderness or another city second the old people are the ones that couldn't leave because of their age and had no family to take them so we take care of them and the comment about farms? Yeah there is quite a few farms with livestock around" said Alex as Janet then proceeded to say "you take care of the old that couldn't move away? What are you super rich or something?" As she didn't hear of Alex's backstory she genuinely didn't know which made Chris and Alex laugh as Alex's team that road the APC just smiled at her, seeing everyone either laughing at her or smiling like she was an idiot really got under her skin as she raised her voice at Chris and said "what's so funny it was a genuine question" Chris just shrugged as Alex said "you'll see later Janet if I'm rich or not" seeing that he didn't answer but led her on she got pretty upset she also understands by there reaction that he is rich <br/><br/>As they approached Alex's mansion Chris and Janet were even more speechless more than 30 houses we're surrounded by steel bars with a huge mansion at the center there was a giant radio tower next to it ofcourse Alex used the free labor of the veterans to build the steel wall around it only took about a week it would of went faster if they were trained the veterans didn't complain about the free labor because this past month they understood shit is bad out there if Alex didn't take them out the streets they would become someone's lunch literally and having an extra layer of protection doesn't hurt no body as they made they're way to the mansion they passed many veterans who were either eating, lifting or listening to the radio they all wore clean clothes seeing this Janet couldn't help but ask "these are the veterans you saved? What stopped them from getting jobs after all they are all able bodied and learn good trades in military" asked Janet as she spends all day researching diseases she is quite naive in other fields alex just smiled knowing this and said "it's either mental or social issues after all a lot of people might not be able to integrate into the civilian population because of these issues after all there is a culture gap between the military and civilians sadly I couldn't save many of them only the ones in our state it breaks my heart to know what will happen to the homeless veterans in California they have thousands of them" said Alex with a sad face he didn't say this to get loyalty from his men but he really felt this way these were man and women who chose to fight when others relax at home and all they got for the lifetime of mental pain is living on the streets and he has devoured a previous veterans soul so he acquired his love for the military so both these feelings give Alex strong feelings towards those homeless veterans the soldiers aswell even though some were from separate countries this doesn't change the fact they are all soldiers the feeling of sympathy for each other is strong as the APC got deathly quiet with Janet regretting even asking at this point as she thinks she hit a soft spot but just before she was about to light the mood alex smiles and says "but 15 days ago in the name of umbrella I gave away all my remaining wealth to the homeless veterans I bought all of them food for a couple weeks and a visit to the psychiatric for a month It was easy to find them as they were in the military I even wrote a personal letter to all of them that were printed and shipped out to all of them sadly I couldn't do this for every homeless veteran in the world my money was just enough for the United States to feed them for a couple weeks and give them a month in the psychiatric" said Alex with a smile as his squad also smiled happily this might be the first time Chris and Janet seen these killers so happy and smiling but they themselves had to agree that Alex was a great man "hey Alex your a great guy you know that" said Janet as the others nodded alex just said "I'm just a guy with money haha well not anymore"<br/><br/>As the convoy parked outside Alex's mansion the couple were again surprised because the entire street and lawn were filled with military vehicles they could even see 5 tanks infact Alex could of bought a shit ton of armored vehicles from Russia to Britain but the time is to tight if he had a couple more months he could of probably bought thousands of military vehicles from across the world including helicopters and jets </p>
