the beginning of the black rebellion

i spent the next eight years doing two things first i began redesigning sakura's knightmare frame and building it as that was my knights name was sakura and she named her knightmare argentavis which is an extinct dinosaur bird and building her loyalty towards me as i didn't have lelouches geass yet and even if i did i wanted at least one trustworthy person that i didn't have to brainwash once i was certain she wouldn't betray me i showed her my starship and massive underwater hanger i had built for my army that i was already deciding to fill as the Japanese resistance kept the royal family preoccupied or they just didn't care either way

"what i am about to show you must not be talked about as this is my biggest trump card" i said she just saluted in the phoenix legion salute and i knew right then that she was loyal using the salute of my personal army and not britannia and then we went underwater in a delta flyer one of my starships three delta flyers my starship shuttles as she saw it i could see her shock

"is that your base" she asked

"oh no that sakura is my starship" i said before explaining exactly what a starship is she just gasped

"when are you launching it" she asked

"When my dear brother schneizal makes his move we will make ours however i am currently looking for my younger brother lelouch as i know he's not dead and then we will be helping him change the world from the shadows" i said she nodded understanding

"this for the time being will sit here until we are ready now i showed you because you are my knight i expect you to keep my trust" i said

"of course your Majesty" she said

time passed and I opened my own company which grew stupid fast the company was called ZAFT electronics and their main purpose was to build knightmare frames of course they were mainly building percutiens so I had a steady supply of grunts also the phoenix legion grew heavily when area 11 was invaded by britannia why well because you were treated not as elevens but as Japanese

we were currently on a private jet on our way to Japan I had already sent some of the phoenix legion ahead to capture a couple high value targets as well as set up refugee camp although I doubt they got one of them I at least decided to try at least I stepped off the plane to see my troops that I had sent ahead waiting for me

"status report on the operation lieutenant" I said

"operation protection set up complete we have a refugee camp guarded by our men as for the high value targets we were only able to get one" the lieutenant said he knew the prince never wanted an explanation

"I expected as much oh well transfer our troops to the camp and prepare the arthur for deployment I will clean up this mess myself" I said and the lieutenant started relaying and following my orders

"the Arthur will be ready in five minutes tops" he said I nodded and started walking to the hanger when I got there I prepared the Arthur which unlike other knightmares didn't had a password you needed to speak the code phrase which for the Arthur was 'let's dance in the darkness' once activated I sheathed both claymores then I grabbed a beam magnum and then I grabbed a high density beam rifle and prepared for launch the entirety of the arthur's weapons with the exception of the slash harkens which i also redesigned so they acted like fangs or funnels whichever you prefer were beam weapons and Camelot has been trying to get their hands on my weapons from the day they learned i had created them

"the king of legend Arthur now launching" I said

and I jet forward on my GN boosters as I preferred them to those stupid looking wheels and it was faster

<third person POV>

lord michael smith prided himself in being a pilot and a member of the pureblood nobility

he was ordered to destroy the shinjuku refugee camp and was happy to kill a few eleven scum when they arrived they found a well put together relief center packed to the brim with terrified elevens but what really disgusted him was the dozen sutherlands guarding the place and protecting the elevens

"attention fellow britannians by order of prince clovis viceroy of area eleven i order you to assist in the eradication of the vermin behind you" smith announced over his knightmare's loudspeaker

"sir we are under the princes orders to protect all the personal and who happen to be brittannians giving aid and medical attention to the local population if you perform hostile actions towards the people behind me I along with my men will be forced to intervene" one of the knightmare's pilots said

"and who's orders take precedent over the viceroy, a prince of the empire, i'll see you and your commander court-martialed, you filthy eleven sympathizers" smith said

"oh really you will now will you" a disembodied voice said smith looked over and saw a knightmare anyone in the britannian army should know, that of the head of the phoenix legion the arthur personal knightmare to the 4th prince thomas one of the best if not the best pilot in the entire britannian army but combine that with his unique weapons which are years ahead and his constantly evolving currently 7th generation knightmare frame and he was practically a one-man army more powerful than even britannia and to make matters worse he had his knight with him and she was said to be as good a pilot as he was and her knightmare frame the argentavis was also a constantly evolving machine as the prince designed and built both the knightmares himself

"so what was that about arresting me again" the prince said breaking the thoughts of smith

"your highness, i deeply apologize, forgive my behavior" he said

"well sir smith as you said you would get me court-martialed i think its only fair that you get that punishment instead i order you and your men to stand down, disengage and exit your knightmares, and allow yourselves to be taken into custody for your actions. refusal to follow these orders will be met with the lethal force do you understand" thomas said

"but my lord there is a battle going on not to mention we need every man we can spare to find the stolen poison gas" smith said said desperate to escape punishment

"well if that's the case i will personally end this battle as for the poison gas if that's the case than why are you here it seems it is no longer your or my responsibility

before he could continue the argentavis made it's move placing the claymore right on the cockpit centimeters away

"you were given a direct order by prince thomas now follow it" sakura said

<thomas POV>

"now i will take care of this pathetic excuse of a battle" i said and initiated my GN boosters

as i went further into the settlement i saw more bodies i grew accustomed to much after years of combat however that didn't make it easier especially since it was civilians even though it was national policy to attain victory at all costs in the name of the emperor and the glorious empire of britannia. i ignored it and always protected civilians as lelouch would say 'the only ones who should kill are the ones who are prepared to be killed' and i followed that rule as did the phoenix legion

clearing my head of all the troublesome thoughts i focused on the task at hand to put a stop to the combat turning a corner i spot a lone sutherland labeled as friendly. i doubted that, so i continued to charge it.

"damn this is R2 another lone knightmare on the other end of shinjuku i need help" fool didn't even know he had his loudspeaker on while talking on the radio although that was good for me as it meant lelouch made his move

and he started shooting his rifle erratically, which is stupid easy to dodge as i drew a claymore and chopped his head causing the auto eject to activate

coming to an intersection my units enhanced sensors i got from my mobile suit and implemented that instead of a fact sphere told me there was an entire group of knightmares so i took out my beam magnum and pointed it at a point knowing the entire building would collapse i pulled the trigger causing as expected the entire building to collapse once impacted by my weapons and then my sensors told me that their was enemy knightmares incoming from the rear so i began imputing my calculations into the keyboard for the absolute defense system that i again stole from my mobile suit once the calculations were complete i dropped my beam magnum and drew my high density beam rifle took careful aim and blasted each machines head forcibly activating the auto eject and then i boosted out of the way of the knightmare with the cannon i then took aim and ejected him too and then more sutherlands were incoming

"trying to overwhelm me with numbers someones learning but you will have to catch me first" i said activating my GN booster and propeling in the opposite direction and force ejecting all of them with my rifle that was running out of energy but not quite i still had three shots left when they all fell

"sorry lelouch you don't have enough men or machines to overwhelm me" i said

i started looking around and saw a mother and child falling i used my boosters to jump and caught her i directed her to the camp my men were guarding her and then i saw the lancelot but i still had to play dumb i activated the arthurs loudspeaker

"state your name, unit and squad" i said

"private suzaku kururugi, the pilot of the lancelot, prototype to camelot, my lord" he said and i started laughing hysterically before calming down

"is that lloyds machine" i asked

"how did you know" he asked

"its a long story tell him however that he failed again he will understand" i said before heading off to finish my mission
