"Good! Now, How many of you are there?" I asked like a friendly stranger does.

"Coughs, We only number at five people." The guys said with difficulty while coughing blood and groaning from pain.

*Paaak! Paaak!

"Hey, are you kidding me? There are so many of you here on the island, how could there be only five of you huh?" I shouted furiously as I continued to slap his head left and right.

"Wait! Wait! Can expla-! Coughs! Coughs!" He shouted hurriedly while being beaten up into a tomato head.

"Alright! I will give you a chance." I said with narrowed eyes and a harmless smile.

The guy just shuddered before coughing again.

"We are a collection of many different mercenary groups." He said while coughing some more and grunting from the pain.

"Hmmm... Fine, that's a believable statement. So, Who requested this mission?" I asked trying to fish for information even though I already know that it was impossible for them to know the one who request the bounty itself.

"Don't know, I think, no one knows. It is already a common sense for mercenaries to not know who the employer or the requester is." he explained with more difficulty as his injuries continued to aggravate.

"Sigh, fine. Hmmm... Okay, I don't have any more questions for you. Alright, as I said before hand, I will let you go. But I won't help you alright. Your injuries aren't so serious that you will die in just a few hours.

You just need to survive on your own until you are found by your teammates or someone else." I said apathetically.

The guy did not bother to talk anymore so that it would not make his injuries more serious than it already is.

I just let him be as I started moving for my next target.

- Marianne's group -

Earlier, before the first grenade explosion.

"Hey, you and Alister seems really close." Flora said curiously to Marianne with a slightly knowing smile and a raised brow.

"Don't you know? We are best of friends. Although our friendship only started when I met him at the Ashford Foundation." Marianne said with a smile shamelessly as it was already quite obvious that Alister and her are having an elicit relationship.

"Really? Your so shameless now, you aren't that shameless when I first met you." Flora said as she rolled her eyes from Marianne's straight faced lie.

"Aiyaa... I was influence by Alister. He is such a bad guy." Marianne said with a slight perverted smile as she looked at Eunalia teasingly.

"Hey, why are you looking at me like that! Also, Alister isn't really a bad guy, you know." Eunalia said with a red face from embarassment.

"What? Don't tell me... You too?! Are you doing it with that guy too?" Flora asked in surprise and shock as she realize that these two friends of hers had been sharing one guy.

Eunalia just got more embarrassed from Flora's exclaiming.

Marianne just smiled knowingly as she looked at Flora with raised eyebrows.

While Cornelia just had more imaginary question marks floating on the top of her head as she could not understand what this three ladies are talking about.

"Hey, it wasn't bad, you know~. In fact, it is so good that you will be a mess after. Hehehe..." Marianne said pervertedly.

Flora can just roll her eyes again from Marianne's statement, although she got intrigue and curious about it too.

Then Flora looked at Eunalia's embarrassed face for a moment before she realized that it would be really hard to try and tease Marianne but it will be easy if it was Eunalia.

"Hehehe... Hey, Eunalia. How did it feel like? Is it really as good as what Marianne said?" Flora said as she started teasing Eunalia.

Eunalia is so embarrassed that she just hid her face with her hands as she whimpered and groan, wanting to burry her head under the earth.

"Hey, Don't talk about that in front of a child Flora." Marianne said as she only remembered now that Cornelia is with them right now.

"I am not the one who started going in this topic though." Flora said to Marianne with a deadpan stare.

"That's right, let's not talk about that. My baby girl is here after all." Eunalia said hurriedly as she recovered immediately to change the topic.

"But I don't even understand?" Cornelia said confusedly and innocently.

Eunalia was just about to coax the little girl but got interrupted by a loud explosion.

*Boom!

"That's it! A grenade explosion! Let's go! Let's go!" Flora said excitedly.

Their position is, Marianne in the driver's seat obviously, Flora just beside her and Eunalia with Cornelia together in the back seat.

"Wooohooo! Let's go!" Marianne shouted as she plunged the gas pedal down to the extreme.

The car darted out of the opened garage quickly while leaving dust as it move away from the mansion.

They got spotted immediately because of the loud sound that the car made though.

So, they were shot upon by some of the guys that they passed through.

"There are really many of them. We already passed by a few of these guys by now." Flora said with a frown as she felt worried about Alister's situation.

"Yes, how will Alister get away from them safely?" Eunalia said worriedly as she bit her lip while hugging Cornelia so that she doesn't get thrown around in the car.

The car is moving fast so it obviously mean that any uneven terrain will result in intense shaking.

"You both don't have to worry about that bastard. He would be able to catch up to us safely. As he said before.

It will be better for him if he was alone. We will just become a burden if we have gone together with him." Marianne said with a slight smile.

"You too will be a burden? How can that be? Is Alister that strong?" Flora said doubtfully with an unbelieving tone.

"He isn't really that much stronger than me. He just will more likely survive more than me." Marianne said with an expression that said 'I know something that you don't'.
