Hahaha!" Kallen laughed joyfully as she looked funnily at that swollen cheek which even affected Naoto's speaking ability slightly.

"Yo, Naoto! It's good that you can come back!" Ohgi greeted too with some excitement as he put his arm over Naoto's shoulder before slapping him lightly in the abdomen.

"Ouch! Ughh... Don't! Don't touch my abdomen...

"Alright, class! Open to page..." the professor said before he was interrupted.

The sliding door opened up to show Kallen Stadfelt, who finally came to school again after having a leave of absence for a few days because of sickness.

Everyone turned their heads towards this person who interrupted the strict professor who had a twitching smile on his face for feeling infuriated but then calmed down when he saw that it was the sickly student who finally showed up again which is a good thing so he decided to be tolerant.

"Oh, Miss Stadfelt! You finally attended class again.

Are you okay?" The professor asked just to be polite.

"I was permitted to attend again, the doctor said that I was getting better, that I should be able to attend more after some time," Kallen said softly while looking like someone out of energy and a bit pale.

Of course, she was just acting and the paleness is just a good application of talcum powder.

"Alright, go to your seat, we will start the lesson." the professor said quickly.

Lelouch who was by the window at the back row just observed Kallen silently, which was caught by Sherly and some other people again.

But he did not take notice of that and then he removed his gaze from Kallen before he started thinking about something serious with a hand on his chin while pretending to look at his subject book.

'Hmmm...

I was quite reckless sometime ago.

It seems that I have to prepare for Kallen later when she finally remembers our encounter.

It's quite thankful that Kallen did not see me in that incident and that Naoto guy also did not see me too.
