'Tsk tsk... It is really hard to take down this guy. He almost always comes up with something new everytime we face off.

So, take this! Haa!" Charles said calmly to himself at first before shouting out loud as he started attacking.

He dashed his knightmare frame in a single swift swerve to build some momentum before slashing his sword sideways, going to the same direction.

Reynald quickly operated his knightmare frame to place his own sword vertically in the direction from where Charles is coming from to block the attack sideways.

Using the momentum of the attack to himself, he managed to quickly make the knightmare frame spin around and make his own attack in a horizontal spinning slash.

But Reynald missed as Charles's momentum at that time is very fast, so he manage to slip pass before Reynald is even halfway through his spin.

Although the momentum help Charles get way, it also prevented him from doing anything else before slowing down or doing a big swerve to correct his course of direction.

He choose slowing down to almost a stop because doing a big swerve will give enough time for Reynald to get his bearings from the spin and do his own attack.

He would not let Reynald have any chance to attack at all!

He spun the knightmare frame at a hundred eighty degrees as it slowed down to the minimum threshold of a manageable change of vectors.

Then he operated his knightmare frame again to dash back at Reynald while Reynald finally manage to slow down the spin of his knightmare frame!

He already saw what Charles did and he already thought about what to do.

"Haa!" He grunted as he forcefully stopped the remaining momentum of the spin by moving on a swift sliding curve motion using this move to also meet Charles attack with his own and not let him collect more momentum like earlier.

A loud metallic collision sound was heard as they collided against each other.

Sword to sword, mech to mech.

They have gotten into another stalemate as the both of them are using the exact same unit with the same parameters.

The parameters setting of their knightmare frames have been change by heir own selves, it was set at the maximum value.

That's right, the two knightmare frames is on overdrive!

This is also why they stop for a few moments before!

They wanted to avoided over heating before the match is decided!

"Charles!" Reynald shouted intensely.

"Reynald!" Charles shouted back with more intensity.

They disengaged from each other and attacked again at almost the same time.

In the attack this time, both of them only use one arm to strike with the sword and use the free hand to do another strike which they also both managed to block using the sword hands elbow!

Both punching fist had been deflected out and is full of opening!

Using this opening, the both of them used their sword hand to cut each others arm as they take their own sword hand back.

The both of them almost always does the same thing sometimes faster than the other.

They had fought against each other so many times in just this one year that they had already known how the other fights.

They already know what the other will do so they could only hope to come up with something new or keep standing longer than the other!

"I will defeat you! Charles!" Reynald shouted with more intensity than before.

But Charles would not accept being defeated in anything as he shouted with matching intensity! "Accept defeat! Reynald!"

They slashed again with their swords in a slightly slanted vertical slash going downwards!

"Full power!" Reynald shouted to himself.

"Again!" Charles shouted to himself.

Horizontal slash!

*Ting!

'Again!' They both shouted inwardly!

Slanting slash!

*Ting!

The loud sound of the two swords collisions resounded three times before the smokes that is coming out from their knightmare frames became noticeable.

Both their knightmare frames are on the verge of over heating already!

So they both backed up a little to make some distance to collect momentum and then swerved in opposite directions using the fastest speed they can!

Using that momentum that they built up, they both attacked while in a dash!

Both the knightmare frames sword hands got deflected away really hard!

The two of them saw that the other knightmare frame is really open!

They used left over momentum from the deflection to turn their knightmare sideways a little before using the shoulder with a half cut arm to collide against each other again!

One foot inside the range of each other was seen!

The deflected sword hand became movable again!

Slash that foot!

"Char!" Reynald shouted on the top of his lungs.

"Rey!" Charles shouted back with the same loudness.
