Intense Battle

*Baammm....Boooommm...

Stone, dust, and bloody scales flew in the air as Lai Sen's sword fell like a golden comment onto the snakes side, but not for lack of trying.  He was really focusing on the snakes head , but it's reaction speed was something neither of the siblings could contest against.

"Brother....duck...

The sister yelled at Sen right as he was been pushed back by the snakes huge tail, and the later did so immediately. What followed was a crescent silver energy colliding with the head of the snake. It was quite an attack as the snake was clearly shook,  and Lai Sen's opportunity came.

"Huuuuu.... 

Sen's senses immediately concentrated into one point and a huge amount of of golden light gathered into his sword before he rushed the snakes side. He was fast,  faster than when he was fighting the snake before, and with that speed he was upon the snakes side in a flash. Heng saw this and immediately his instinct thought that Sen would do a stab, but it was the opposite.

"Hisssssssss.....

Blood gushed out of the snakes side like a gyzer after Lai Sen's chop. It was strange to see, especially for someone like a trained swordsman who knew the right usage of a sword....but reality was truth. It was like Lai Sen's sword weighted a thousand pounds as it ripped through scale and flesh with force. 

"Hiiissssss....Hisssssss.

The snake of course became engaged at this as it immediately begun to thrash around,  but Lai Sen was already gone from the vicinity. 

"Monster...." mumbled one of the soldier's as he saw the destruction the simblings and the snake were cousins, and Heng internally agreed, but one thing he wanted to add.' All of them are monsters....such destruction....

As Heng contemplated on their power, the fierce battle continued. The simblings continued their harassment and powerful slash combo two more times , each time leaving a big bloody gash on the snakes side. It's green scales were now dyed in red by its own blood,  but the worst thing was that it was beginning to slow down,  the blood loss to much for it to handle.

"Brother....

Sen received the signal from his sister and begun to power up his golden slash once again,  victory in his grasp. 'Good, it's finally over. Once I deliver this  'Golden Dividing ' slash to its head, its over.....huhgggg....what!'

Sen was about to reach the apex of his skill , but a pair of huge, green serpentine eyes appeared in his vision and he immediately shivered. Huge amounts of Yin Qi energy disturbed his skill and the backlash immediately followed. Thin streams of blood came out of his orifices,  and to seal the deal a huge snakes head was trying to gobble him hole.

"Brother!"

"Nghaaaaaaa....

*Bammmm...

The whole battlefield was silent for a moment as the clash happened,  but in the next moment cheering took over. The snake had managed to reach it's target,  but a golden shield was protecting Sen's body and holding the snake back. 

"Hissss....

The snake obviously wasn't happy at the result so it opened its mouth and spewed forth a black liquid,  covering Sen and his shield in it. Seeing this the soldiers heart's tightened once again,  but his sister wasn't going to let this slide. She threw silver spear after silver spear at the snake in a blind rage for her brother,  and it clearly worked.  The snake with it's many wounds couldn't resist anymore, and it heavily fell down.

"Brother Sen!"

The snake was now dead, but the sister rushed immediately towards the cocoon of black that had buried Sen and immediately begun to peel it away with her hands. She managed to remove much of it, until a golden light broke the cocoon with a crack, and Lai Sen came out. He was out of breath and covered in sweat,  but he was alive. 

"Brother Sen...are..are you hurt anywhere? The snake spewed that black thing,  and and.. 

"Stop...hah hah, I'm fine, just a little injured. I didn't expect for the snake to have an innate skill....and quiet a formidable one."

"An innate skill?!"

The sister gasped as for a creature to have an innate skill it would either be a very old and wise creature, or maybe have some sort of formidable bloodline.  Either way, with the ability to instantly use it , an innate skill was something humans only wished for.

"Such bad luck. First the formation,  now this thing.....this place is a nightmare." said Lai Sen as he wiped the blood from his mouth, but he still  smiled as sebsaw the slowly slithering body of the snake." But as dangerous as it is, it is at least rewarding. Every part of that snake is a treasure. "

"Brother....you're right...., but that's for later. Here,  better eat a recovery pill first. "

"Thank you...

The siblings each ate a small pill and the Vital Qi immediately surged inside their bodies. Superficial wounds begun healing,  and their stamina begun to recover at an incredible rate.
