Chapter 20
Their image was all around Harris, reflecting in the many mirrors near the change rooms, and he could see it clearly now. They were made for each other.
“Wow, you guys look amazing together,” Alexander, said, as though he’d read his thoughts. He was walking up to them. “I’d like to put you two in my front window. Bet you’d help my sales a whole bunch.”
Sales. Man, he suddenly hated that word.

An hour later, the fitting done, they walked side by side, on the cobblestone street, under a blue sky.
The jacket Jude had chosen needed a little adjustment, but Alexander had promised everything would be perfect and ready for him tomorrow. Alexander had been nothing but professional with Jude and had avoided making his usual crude jokes. Jude had finally relaxed and the fitting session had gone well. He’d be picking up his suit in the afternoon and then meeting Harris at the party later that evening.
