"Tsk... A goblin shaman and now this."

As Leon focused on the massive goblin bear that had thrown Carlos, the creature lunged at him with startling speed.

Leon's eyes widened as he faced the colossal goblinbear that had laid waste to Captain Carlos.

Clank~

Leon was caught off guard but he instinctively coated his sword with mana, meeting the hybrid monster's claw-like attack with a resounding parry. The clash of steel and fur echoed through the ruins as Leon skillfully defended against the relentless assaults of the formidable goblin bear.

Meanwhile, Carlos, groggily regaining his consciousness surveyed the chaotic battlefield. His frown as he witnessed Leon grappling with the monstrous foe.

"That thing certainly packed a puch huh, ptui" he grimly said as he spit some blood.

Carlos stood up preparing to join the fray. However, his attention was diverted as he spotted the goblin shaman at the castle doors, chanting an ominous incantation.

Realizing the impending danger, Carlos sprinted towards the shaman, aiming to neutralize the spellcaster before assisting Leon. However, just as he closed in, six hulking goblin bears emerged from the castle doors. Three of them charged directly at Carlos, confronting him with their menacing presence.

"By the gods, there's more of them!" Carlos exclaimed, parrying the attacks of the charging goblin bears. Meanwhile, two of the massive creatures diverted their attention to the 15 recovering knights, while another joined the ongoing battle between Leon and the first goblin bear. The odds had shifted dramatically, turning the tide against Leon and the knights.

Meanwhile, the situation intensified for Leon as the additional goblinbear joined the fray, tipping the scales against him.

"This just got more complicated!"

Leon, locked in combat, gritted his teeth as the situation became increasingly dire.

His focus was both on the goblin bear in front of him and the unfolding chaos around the ruined castle.

Leon, realizing the dire straits they were in, called out to Kael and the barbarians for assistance. "Kael!, join the fight and intercept those bear like goblins" he shouted, his voice cutting through the clamor of battle. Responding to their lord's command, Kael and the nine barbarians, wielding dual axes, rushed to aid Leon and the Captain knight.

As Kael closed in on the two goblin bear attempting to join the battle against Leon.

Swish~

He swiftly hurled one of his axes with precision. The spinning weapon found its mark, embedding itself in the goblin bear's flank. Seizing the opportunity, Kael lunged forward, his powerful punch connecting with the creature's muzzle.

Undeterred, Kael deftly caught the axe that had rebounded from the goblin bear's tough hide. The barbarian continued his assault, engaging two of the monstrous creatures simultaneously. Meanwhile, the other nine barbarians divided into pairs, each group targeting a single goblin bear.

With a synchronized onslaught, the barbarians unleashed a whirlwind of axe strikes, creating a dance of blades against fur and flesh. As Kael grappled with his opponents, the other barbarians demonstrated their prowess, creating a coordinated effort to overwhelm the goblin bears.

Carlos, fighting alongside one of the barbarians, grinned. "You're quite strong, peasant !" he remarked, parrying the strikes of the goblin bear he faced. The collaboration between the knights and the barbarians began to turn the tide, creating a semblance of balance in the chaotic skirmish.

In the heat of battle, Leon, locked in combat with the relentless goblin bear, caught sight of the shaman resuming its ominous incantation.

"That shaman is troublesome!" Realizing the impending danger, Leon swiftly devised a plan.

•|In shadows deep, where night unfolds|•

As the clash of steel and fur continued, Leon began to chant a spell, infusing his sword with his mana.

•|Whispered words, the tale retold.|•

White runes glowed on his blade, radiating an otherworldly brilliance. The goblin bear, momentarily taken aback, provided Leon the opportunity to complete his incantation.

•|Winged kin, from darkness spring, Bats, arise, on silent wing.|•

With the spell now ready, Leon distanced himself from the goblin bear and pointed his sword towards the shaman.

"Emerge!" he commanded, unleashing a dark magic circle from the tip of his sword. A swarm of shadowy bats suddenly materialized, their wings beating with an eerie rhythm.

As the dark bats descended upon the shaman, chaos ensued. The goblin spellcaster, caught off guard, desperately tried to ward off the relentless assault. The bats, guided by Leon's command, besieged the shaman and disrupted the shaman's chanting, causing the magical energy around it to waver.

Leon, observing the distraction his summoned bats created, seized the moment. "Now!" he shouted, signaling his allies to take advantage of the shaman's vulnerability.

Kael, locked in combat with the two goblin bears, grinned in response to Leon's signal.

"RAGE!" he bellowed, a surge of purple energy emanating from him. His muscles tightened, and an aura of wild power enveloped him, transforming him into a formidable force. The other nine barbarians, under the influence of Kael's rage, mirrored his transformation, becoming fiercer and stronger.

Witnessing the sudden surge of power, Carlos could only mutter in shock, "What the hell is this?"

Kael, now empowered, hurled one of his axes toward the goblin shaman.

Swish~

The weapon moved with such speed that it blurred in the air. The shaman, preoccupied with fending off bats, barely registered the impending danger before his world turned upside down, succumbing to the lethal blow.

With relentless fury, Kael swung his remaining axe, engaging the two goblin bears in a mad battle. The strength behind each blow left deep wounds on the creatures, weakening them significantly. Kael then use there weaken state to kill them.

Leon, amidst his own struggle with a goblin bear, smiled as he observed Kael and the barbarians dominating their adversaries.

"Looks like the my gold coins paid off" he muttered to himself.

Kael and the other 9 Barbariana didn't came from the gift pack. They were from shop in the system. They were the Raged Barbarians from the Builder Base. This barbarians behaves similar to a normal Barbarian. However, they have a special ability (Rage) which can increase their speed, strength and damage to his enemies.

As Kael and the barbarians emerged victorious over their foes, Leon continued his duel with the remaining goblin bear. Carlos, wanted to assist as he moved forward, but Kael halted him with a firm grip. "This is our lord's duel," Kael declared, his voice commanding respect. "No one interferes; it's sacred."

_____________

Having observed Kael's unleashed rage and the formidable prowess of the barbarians, Leon shifted his focus to the goblin bear standing before him.

•|In shadows' grasp, darkened gleam|•

Aware of his dwindling stamina, he began to chant, the air around him pulsating with an ominous energy.

•|Whispered chant, a shadow's dream.|•

His sword, once gleaming silver, started to absorb the darkness of his incantation, transforming into a menacing shade of black.

•|Abyssal fire, sword's embrace,

Blackened flame, foes efface.|•

With a resolute expression, Leon completed his chanting, the words resonating with a dark power.

"Abyssal flame," he declared, and his sword erupted in a black inferno. The flames licked the air menacingly, casting an eerie glow across the battlefield.

As the goblin bear lunged, Leon executed a series of calculated strikes, each swing imbued with the newfound power of the abyssal flame. The black fire danced along the blade, rendering his attacks more lethal. The goblin bear, caught off guard by the intensified assault, struggled to defend itself against the onslaught.

Leon wasted no time, slashing through the goblin bear with newfound ease. The black flames seared through the creature's flesh, weakening it further with each strike. As the goblin bear writhed in pain, Leon saw an opportunity to end the battle decisively.

With a swift motion, Leon executed a final, precise strike, extinguishing the goblin bear's life. The black flames intensified momentarily before dissipating, leaving Leon standing amidst the aftermath of the duel.

Huff~ huff~

Breathing heavily, Leon sheathed his sword, the abyssal flame receding. "It's finally done," he declared, his gaze shifting to the battlefield where Kael and the barbarians stood victorious. The collective effort had proven successful, and the threat of the goblin bears was quelled.

The knights then continued to pursue the goblins who had scattered and escaped.

The knights and barbarians circled the Ruins and began cleaning up any goblins found within the tents of the tribe. Since they had won, they were relegated to cleaning up the battlefield.

The goblins, who had all lost the will to resist, became sheep awaiting slaughter.

Furthermore, those ferocious primitive beings were unable to compete with humans when it came to war, be it in terms of tactics or weapons and equipment.

The evening sun finally set beyond the mountains.

The remaining glow of the sun struggled to light the darkened sky, giving off final bits of light before eventually setting.

Before long, the moon was vaguely seen rising into the sky.

The fighting was now over.
