It happened just after Industrial Revolution in Europe when the world faced Renaissance. Curiosity to know & explore more was flowing hot in the veins of the Europeans. New ideas in different forms had come up in versatile fields weather art, science, inventions, crafts, economic policies or discovery of new lands. The Tudors (Henry VII, Henry VIII & Elizabeth I) were quite satisfied to see the development of England from a small island that still followed Middle Age customs to a powerful nation that would change the state of the world in near future. Queen Elizabeth I was a lover of wealth. She just wanted to see England prosper financially & for that she was ready to pass any order. From few of her consultants & geologists she had got to know that the areas of Texas, Arizona & the southern part of USA were rich in mines about which the natives were not aware then. If somehow Britain could capture those mines then the minerals mined out could be very beneficial to Britain's economy as till today England do not own any natural resources. The Queen called for a meeting to discuss about this issue with her consultants & geologists.
"Our experienced Geologists & explorers can study the area & bring back the information regarding the minerals, environment, culture, climate etc." proposed one of her consultants with great pleasure & interest. "Who is eager to volunteer for this noble mission that may change Britain's future ? I would like to appoint only two individuals from my directory of advisors. Rest of the members can be chosen from other institutions. If you are successful then you will be awarded handsomely... I am sure that in my noble directory of advisors such bravehearts do exist. Am I right? " declared the Queen with a questioning yet confident look.
"I am willing to volunteer for this mission." answered an young man with determination in his voice. He had just set foot in his thirties & was very loyal to her Majesty & his country. He had an adventurous attitude which had helped him to excel & be one of Her Majesty's advisors.
"You have impressed me with your bravery Oswald. I am quite glad about it. Any one else ?" said the Queen with a smile on her face.
"I am willing to accompany Oswald on this journey My Lord." declared Nicolas Smith who was a co-geologist of Oswald William.
Clapping her hands the Queen declared, "Very well! Very well! You will get all possible support from my side required for this journey. You are free to choose your crew members but make sure that they are experienced. Start preparations & planning from tomorrow itself."
"As you wish Your Majesty!" accepted & both of them bowed together So the two trusted geologists cum explorers Oswald William & Nicolas Smith set to carry out the orders of the Queen.
