"I thought I told you to stay away from him," Cindy said as her eyes pierced through Ayanda's with determination that told Ayanda she meant business.

"He called me," Ayanda said, "I had missed the call and was returning it to see what it is he wanted."

"You still have a thing for him?"

"No I don't. I never did. I did not know him for long enough to develop anything meaningful. I just know that the night we spent together, he chased my nightmares away. But I don't need him for that anymore, I have the therapist Elizabeth got for me and I am working through my issues. I am a better person now," Ayanda explained.

The last thing she wanted to do was be on Cindy's bad side.

"Lay off the kid Cindy. Can't you see she is innocent?" Jade came to the rescue of the alleged man usurper.

"I just needed to be sure," Cindy said.
