C: The Beginning

The first week of a marriage that would last a minimum of sixty years… was not very intimate. Granted, it was not very private either.

The small cabin felt very crowded with three people living in it. There were four if you counted the artificial personality. The tiny space was crowded with the conversations of dozens if you counted everyone that the Prince of Eks Corp was communicating directly with.

The very human odors that had felt so comforting when she had first returned were quickly becoming annoying. Sleeping in shifts without having a separate room to retreat to made the isolation she'd endured on the Dragon's ship seem almost luxurious. However, sleeping secure in the knowledge that every voice heard within the vessel was working together toward a safe voyage, that would ensure the comfort of both occupants for the next decade, was indescribably luxurious.
