I Didn’t See That Coming

Diana stared at me with those frightful blue eyes tainted with fears and worries. She caressed the side of her neck that had punctured wounds. Her lips trembled as she breathe through her mouth. "Tamara is keeping an original vampire in one of her chambers.", she said.

"The one who bit you here?", I touched her bruised neck gently and caressed it down to her shoulder.

"She actually created Calvin. As soon as he located her, they caught her and now, Claudia is locked behind a door that has.. a moon and some kind of moonstone on it. Tamara killed Calvin the very same day", Diana said.

Come to think of it, Diana is much needed by Alva to lure an original vampire. Of course, her blood makes a vampire human, and it would easy for a nagua to overpower an original vampire in its vulnerable state, just like getting a candy from a baby.

"Moonstones are like detectors. Creatures, who wield dark magic, often make use of moonstones when they want to make connections with other powerful entities. Once a connection has been established, the moonstones glow.", I explained to her briefly. These rare stones attract new beginnings, and if in evil hands, they enchant the souls with their powers leaving the bodies useless. It's interesting that a nagua wants to claim a vampire's soul. Nagualli usually eye on wolves, not vampires.

"I see.. umm", Diana seemed to be very nervous. "My blood turned her to a human, supressing the vampire in her. And I just thought that if we don't have any other choice to remove the curse that's possibly casted on you, you can use my blood", she offered.

I know the incredible powers her blood holds, only that, I never considered taking it like a bloody maintenance just in case I'm a lycan. She doesn't need to bleed for anyone, most especially for me. Also, I've seen how addictive her blood seemed to be with Stanley, considering it was only a drop of blood on a pill. I don't like to end up like him. "I'll remember that, Luna", I answered with a soft smile as I stared at her plump lips. I moved closer for a kiss when Diana called my name.

"Scott…", she turned her body to face me. "What if.. you need to kill someone close to you, so the curse would be broken?", she asked.

I paused for a bit and squinted my eyes. "That's a bit tricky and complicated. Anyone close to me in specific? ", I asked with a frown.

"Like Stanley? Or Sebastian..", she said as she shrugged her shoulders. "Or… me?", she added.

I didn't see that coming.

According to Dolphus' prophecy, the cursed Alpha wolf will fight his way to his Luna. I was never told why. But in any case, if death comes between the lycan and someone personally dear to me, I'd rather shed my own blood.

I haven't even answered yet but Diana already rebutted. "Well, if there will come a time that.. you need to kill me for your sake..", she wet her lips and smiled. "Just do remember, I'm willing to give every drop of my blood for you", she said it like it was bound to happen.

"No, Luna. Like what I've said, we'll find a way. I'll

make sure not anyone of yous need to sacrifice for me", I said as I kissed her hand.

Diana then started to weep silently. "What's the matter?", I moved closer and wiped her tears. I'd say, Diana's drowning in sadness and grief. So much have happened, and I hope, I'm enough to move her mountains.

She then moved her face closer to mine, then kissed me with her crying tears. Her kiss was warm and gentle. She held my face and the back of my head as she sat on top of me. I embraced her waist and tasted her sweet lips as we share the most lustful kiss we ever had.

"I'm still mad at you for kissing Christina", she mumbled while I circle my tongue in her mouth.
