I’ve Waited So Long

As Diana disappear in the thick clouds of smoke from the raging fire and brimstone, Scott held his breath trying the best he could do to sense Diana. Looking around, it seemed like he's in a place where there's a strong protective force field. He then radiated his rage aura to break himself free from the realm he's kept in. However, it's s strong that he couldn't even budge out. On the other hand, Wren pants in disbelief as he watch his people and beloved forest burn and die.

The fire easily spread as the gust of wind blew from the grasses to the trees, then on the fields. The lythari elves wailed in pain as they cry for help while the conflagration burn them alive including their homes. Lythari elves, who are known as wood fairies, have only one thing they fear the most - fire. Their knees tremble in tremendous terror at the sight of it. They lose their minds as they restlessly panic at the presence of hot, burning blaze.

Wren couldn't even lift a finger to help his people. He stood still in complete shock on the sudden turn of events. His masterplan was to only hold Diana captive for a while in order to deceive Alpha Scott to become the vessel of the meta-power transfer. It was never included in his plan to slaughter his entire family and destroy his home. And in one fire sweep, the lythari elf clan of the Valley of the Falls is all gone.

Scott faced Wren as he send his rage aura to the tormented lythari. "And now… you die", Scott darkened his eyes walking closer to Wren.

Wren raised his hands and begged to spare his life. "No, please!! Don't!!", Wren walked backwards pleading to Scott. "I can help you! I'll be your servant!! I will.. I WILL SERVE YOU!", Wren exclaimed.

With his death stare focused on Wren, Scott just continued walking closer filling the entire realm with his rage aura stronger than before. He appeared like he didn't hear a word Wren said. In his head, he just wanted to spill the blood of the elf for taking his Luna and for almost killing her.

Wren then slowly felt excruciating pain from his legs up to his chest. Dropping down on his knees, he breathe heavily and attempted to beg more. "Your..Luna!! Dia..na! I.. will lead you.. to her!", Wren exclaimed when Scott was about to torture his entire body with his aura.

Scott loosened his power a bit after hearing Diana's name. Then he asked, "Who informed you about my arrival?". Wren didn't replied.

"Who ordered you to use Diana?", Scott asked again. Wren kept mum for a moment. Scott noticed that Wren gave him a side eye first before he answered, "No one, my King!".

Scott furrowed his brows in displeasure believing that Wren still chose to lie than to be honest to him. "I just gave you a chance to save your ass", Without any remorse, Scott swiftly went over Wren and broke every bone in his tiny body with his bare hands. Something that he thought he must have done long before.

The force field of the realm broke at the last breath of Wren, releasing Scott in the middle of the burning bushes. He then tried to sense where Diana is. As he search, Scott shunned from the falling aflamed trees and branches. He steered clear out of the fiery tall shrubs not minding the burns he caught on his hands and arms.

When he come across several burnt bodies of innocent lythari elves, Scott could only think of how reckless Roman is. His carelessness brought chaos that could have possibly hurt Diana.

Scott then followed some shoe tracks that led him to a safe zone where there's less fire. There, he met Cory and Lucas who have just arrived at the scene after seeing the thick dark smoke surging and filling up the night sky.

"Did you burned the forest down?", Lucas said as he breathlessly glared at Cory.

"Me? I'm a nature-goddamn-lover!! I don't even have light with me to start a fire… Hey Alpha? Did you..", before he could even ask, Scott was already gloweing at Cory. "…uhh.. what I'm trying to ask is.. Are you safe? You have burns! Let me lick them for you. I am so worried about you'n he he", Cory said as he grin at Scott.

"Find Diana, she's around here somewhere", Scott ordered as he climbed up a tree to locate Diana up above. With no leads, he sighed sharply as he leaped from one tree to another.

Yelling and screaming Diana's name, the three wolves searched everywhere for the Luna. The water fairies started to extinguish the fire, as they produce light rains to stop the disaster from destroying the rest of the forest.

The cold drizzles caressed Scott's cheeks as he walk up ahead where he hears the flowing stream. He grunted at the terrible feeling of yearning for his Luna. 'Where are you, Diana?', he thought.

Scott looked up the sky and saw the waning moon accompanied by the evening star. He closed his eyes and breathe deeply. "Diana, I'll find you. May we be under the same sky or not. I'll find you", he uttered.

"I'm right here, Scott", Diana said as she stood right behind Scott.

Scott slowly turned around and could hardly believe that it's Diana's voice he hears. "Is this a dream?", he asked as he opened his mouth in awe.

Diana removed her cloak and didn't reply anthing. Instead, she started to cry happy tears as she shook her head from side to side and smiled.

In three big strides, Scott walk towards Diana feeling nervous and anxious. Time seemed to slow down as he draw nearer to his Luna. Then, with much anticipation he swiftly locked her in his arms and said, "I've waited so long for this day".

Diana didn't hugged him back. Scott noticed how aloof Diana was towards him. "What's the matter?", he asked.
