Fight His Own Devils

Scott went inside the island clinic where the pack is inerrogating Diana's attackers. They've been treated already from the wounds they had as they wait for the law enforcements to pick them up.

Sitting on a couch, the three blonde men apologizes to Cory and David who were standing by glaring at them. Austin was leaning against the wall as he play with a scalpel.

"You dare hurt our Luna? You must have a death wish", Cory said as he choke Tommy with his arm rubbing his knuckle on his head.

"Please!! We just did what we were told!! Christina forced us to do it!", Tommy pleaded as he held Cory's arm.

"Our Luna wasn't done carving your pretty face, boy. I'll finish it for her", Austin said as he dared to slit Ryan's face with the scalpel.

"We didn't really planned to touch her! I swear!! The girl attacked us first! She even threatened to kill herself", Ryan as said as he covered his face.

"Cory, Austin, that's enough", David said as he towered them. "What I want to know.. why would you hit our defenseless Luna when you can hit me?", David said as he grabbed and twisted Ryan's arm.

William was sitting quietly, looking down as he fidget with his hands.

"You.", Scott said as he directed his gaze and walked towards William. Austin, Cory and David suddenly stopped and let go of the two.

Wiliam trembled as he met Scott's gaze.

Scott clutched on William's shirt with one hand and lifted him up like paper until William's feet were dangling on the floor.

"Tell me what you did to her while I'm being kind", Scott said as he darkened his eyes.

"The… I… slapped… her face… and kissed her.. neck.. punched… her in.. the abdomen", William said as he choke on Scott's grasp on his neck.

Scott tightened his grip and threw William across the room. William hit the wall and wailed in pain. He put his hands up pleading for forgiveness.

"I'm so.. sor.. sorry!! That's all I did, that's all I did", William said as he cried out loud. "We.. we were told that if we touch her and.. and throw her in the ocean, we'll receive.. a good supply.. of drugs".

Tommy and Ryan never felt so much fear for the lives.

Scott clenched his fist, as his veins on his arms and neck became prominent. He breathe heavily at William's confession, then walked closer to him as if his vision focused to only one target.

David grasped Scott's shoulder and said, "I don't think our Luna would like to hear if Alpha Scott murders these men". David tried to calm him down.

Scott stopped. He's extreme anger can effortlessly kill these men. However, hearing Diana's name, he was able to calm himself down.

"And the animal bites?", Scott said as he kicked William's abdomen making him roll over from

pain.

"There's… there's a wolf! With big yellow eyes who… attacked us", William said as he catch his breath clutching to his stomach.

Scott then punched William's face knocking him out.

"Wolf with yellow eyes?!", Cory's jaw dropped in Williams unexpected reply. The pack stared at each other in disbelief.

"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?", Lucas scoffed at Christina who's restrained on the table with a special kind of handcuffs for wolves designed by SD Enterprises in the island's holding room for culprits. It was a tiny gray room that has only a table, two chairs and a fixed window.

Lucas slammed the table with his fist before sitting across Christina.

"Don't you know what you just did?", he said as he leaned forward to Christina over the table.

Christina sat there quietly as she stared at her restrained hands on her lap.

"Do you remember when we were little?", Christina said.

Lucas sighed as he leaned backwards and pressed his eyes with his hands.

"I was always bulllied by the young wolf boys.. I got spit on, thrown rocks at, walked over.. a miserable life that I lived only because of my bloodline of Omegas.", Christina tearfully recalled as she grazed the handcuffs on her wrists.

"I remember the day when you and Scott rescued me when I was being beaten.." Christina glanced at Lucas who has his brows furrowed at her. "I thought I was gonna die.. when you both came and beat the crap out of those boys and saved me", she continued as she smiled with tears.

"Scott told me I will always got his back everytime I need him", she placed her palms on her face as she sobbed.

"You always did Christina, even when you didn't deserved it.", Lucas said as he gritted his teeth.

"Not always…", Christina wiped her tears with her hands.

"From then, I vowed that the great Alpha Scott will be my mate, so I can start a new bloodline of Alphas", Christina said as she put her hands back on her lap.

"Christina…", Lucas hissed as he stressed her name out.

"I KNOW! I know that we are born as animals mated to one person as decided by the moon goddess!! But I refuse to be her puppet! I make my own destiny, I choose my own mate. I choose Scott!!", she screamed at the top of her lungs as she turned red from her sudden rage.

"Whatever you say now is useless by the time you meet your mate. We are all bound to be puppets of the moon goddess whether you like it or not", Scott replied as he glared at Christina.

"She never imprinted on him… and Scott would hate to be with a doctor", Christina said as she looked at Lucas. "He hates her and will never accept her!", she added.

Lucas stood up, losing his patience from a pointless conversation with Christina.

"Are you that naive, Christina? She already imprinted. We won't be having this conversation if Diana is nothing to Scott", Lucas clenched his both fists as he send his aura to Christina making her weaker.

"Scott is choosing Diana, even if it means he'll have to fight his own devils to be with her.", Lucas continued as he turned his back on Christina.

As he walk towards to door, he looked back and said, "You know better that an attempt to kill the Luna is punishable by death. Whatever Scott's decision about your punishment, I won't meddle anymore".

"Lucas!!! I'm sorry… ", Christina said in a hope that Lucas will not fully abandon her.

"It's too late for that", as Lucas slammed the door shut.
