BACK TO THE COUNTRY

As Ning Mei walked out of the airport exit, a lot of complicated feelings welled up in her heart. 

She planned on never coming back to this place ever again. But here she is three years later… 

She rubbed her nose remembering the highly dramatic speech she made while leaving this place in front of them. Even remembering those incidents three years ago made her blood boil. She just felt like slapping those annoying and selfish relatives of hers, silly.

'Ah... it's indeed embarrassing, but let it damn to hell!! Sure I made a dramatic speech when leaving but who needs to keep their dignity to a few relatives in front of such money! What Dignity?

Can it be eaten?!

Why should I have to work my ass off hard when I can get millions in my inheritance? I'm not so kind hearted enough to simply let them keep it. I wish that.. Calm down… calm down, they aren't worth my anger.."

After meditating for a few seconds to calm herself down. She took a deep breath, flashed a bright smile that can charm millions, and slowly muttered, "Why does it matter anyway? Now that I am here, I can get back what is mine from those sly foxes!"

'But...  before that…' She took out her phone and messaged her friend on WeChat.

[Precious Xiao Mei]: Oi! Lazy pig!!! Why can't I see you anywhere! I am already at the exit of the airport, waiting for you!! Are you even here or are you still rolling around in your bed!? 

The meditation Ning Mei had done to calm herself down had already worn off…

A reply arrived in less than a minute. 

[Heavenly king Ye]: Greetings, the owner of balls for eyes! If you simply look behind you, the highly esteemed me will be visible. I have been waiting… FOR 10 MINUTES!!!

Looking at the text, Ning Mei's mouth twitched. She turned back with a dark expression and was greeted by a heavily covered young man. 

The first thing Ning Mei thought of when seeing him was a rich thief. Fang Ye wore all black, head to toe but all in designer clothing worth hundreds, or even thousands a piece. 

'Black vest, check'

'Black pants, check' 

'Black cap, check' 

'Black mask, check' 

'Black goggles, check' 

'Dear Heavens! Did he come to welcome me back, rob an airport or attend my funeral??' 

Ning Mei clicked her tongue and said, "Dude, if you are wearing mourning clothes as a disguise to attract less attention then, Congratulations!! You've managed to do the opposite. 

She eyed a security guard who was giving  them a weird look and said,  "I think if we stay here any longer..  we might get kicked out because of your thief-like appearance!"

Fang Ye's face darkened, although it wasn't visible because of the mask and goggles. He said, "You ungrateful brat! This young master has personally come running to pick you up the moment he got the news and you are behaving like this! I could've just sent the family driver, or better yet, a taxi, which is all you're worth anyway. Do you know how many people line up outside my house waiting to get a single glance at me? 

If you were not so lost in your own world, then you would have been able to see that I was standing here this whole time! And we could have left this place a long time ago!!"

Ning Mei felt like punching his precious face. "My dear stupid lord! God gave me ears to listen to everything but your stupid bantering!! And God also gave you a mouth with 32 teeth and a tongue in it! Which you use whenever it's not needed!! Couldn't you just have called me once!!?"
