Run Run Run!

Elena's POV 

When Alpha Rykee visited me in the hospital I knew something was wrong. I didn't know him personally, so why would he bring me flowers? 

Then, I knew I was right about the plot. Alpha Rykee was planning to kill me. He even went ahead to invite me to a party. The guts!

When I had told Alpha Herrick about the plot, he had doubts about what I said and I didn't blame him. Who would believe that his most trusted Wolf would ever betray him? 

"No, maybe, you're wrong. Maybe he wasn't the one you saw." He told me.

"He was. You know I wouldn't lie about that." 

"I know you don't feel welcomed by Beta Alexander, but he is only trying to protect me. All these lies aren't really necessary, it doesn't matter. " 

It literally broke my heart right there that I was shocked when I heard Alpha Herrick call me a liar.
