Escape and entanglement

Herricks POV

"Okay, I'll go with you. But first promise me that you'll stand right by me and the girls always, and you will not break my trust again. Like ever again." She said with a voice that screamed ' I'm putting all my hope on you and this is your last chance, don't mess it up.'

Almost Immediately I nodded my head at the same time telling her " I promise not to waste this chance this time around."

Drawing a deep breath, I reached out for her hand, intertwining our fingers. "Let me prove it to you," I pleaded.

"If we are going to make it out of here unnoticed, I think now is the best time to make that move and leave before they notice your absence." I nudged her.

"Let me get a few things so we can get going."

We made it down the window, we were now starting out our journey back to my pack— my home, her home, our home, our family.
