As we embarked on the journey to the Crescent Ridge pack, my mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. The warm embrace of the Grand Luna had left me feeling both humbled and apprehensive about what lay ahead.

The car ride was filled with silence, broken only by the steady hum of the engine and the occasional rustle of papers as Alpha Herrick reviewed some documents. His stoic demeanour did little to ease my growing unease.

I couldn't help but wonder why Alpha Herrick had kept me in the dark about his negotiations with the Crescent Ridge pack. It was clear that he had struck a deal, one that I was not privy to. The secrecy surrounding the situation left me feeling like a mere pawn in a larger game.
