Chapter 86: [Search Mission]

[Philippines Sub-Headquarters]

After taking some of the tray filled with some filipino delicacies, Jinwoo together with Ryuuji, Jessica, Ai, Richard, and Mike then headed for the table wherein Kanzaki and the rest are gathered

After taking some time of familiarizing themselves with their surroundings,  they finally seated down and gathered at along table that was reserved just for the guest of this country

Taking the initiative Richard then tapped unto the table as he glanced at everyone present

"Since we are all here then let's start our talk shall we?" He asked around

Naturally everyone was busy dealing with their own food while giving leeway to listen to him just to give face, of course Jintao was the friendliest together with Ai as both of them were all smiles

Seeing this sight Richard couldn't even tell if this ragtag team that lived in a old condominium beside the harbor, were actually serious of this mission, regardless of its danger level

Soon after to break the mood Mike  then coughed a few times before signaling Richard to say what he wanted to say

Snapped out of his daze he then started once more

"Naturally Head Chief Oliver wanted me to rendezvous  with you guys since you lot were on the way to my home country... of course as a native of my own country, I gladly accepted such request and met you up here... furthermore he also told us that you guys were on a hunting mission to hunt for someone that had escaped your grasp in Grandora city, London, and China, Coincidentally  such fugitive was now in the Philippines..."

After a pause he then looked at everybody around him only to see them nodding in accordance to his information, which also made it easy for him to understand

"... What i don't undertaking is, if such fugitive on a wide scale was escaping all over the place, why hasn't been there any notice to any team to request  for such guy immediate capture?"

At that moment  Ryuuji then spoke up as he placed his fork down nicely beside his tray

"There are few reasons for that, mainly such person is so dangerous that he has a record of killing multiple eye users... so in terms for that not anyone can just capture him, after all if we did such things then the casualty would shot off the roof"

"Second many countries  prioritize their safeties, they would just aid you, help you, but never assist you in capturing him... since a user's death cannot be afford... they treat their own users life much more worth than some foreign natives... that's why atmost there is no unity"

"Lastly the security is lax, the countries are so restricted to protect their own land due to this apocalyptic world... since anything can happen outside the walls, we dare not venture out to had a full scale wipe out"

Hearing this, Richard then nodded as he glanced at everyone present, but before he could say anything more, Jinwoo then suddenly spoke up which is rare for this serious occasion

"Dont forget that there is a terrorist  group out there... they almost killed me and Greg"

Hearing that only those people that were present to such event nodded in agreement

As for Mike, he suddenly had a question that he really wanted to ask some time ago

"By the way who was that guy called Greg?"

With that question, all eyes then landed on Ryuuji, causing the person himself to immediately gulp down his food

"Greg is Head General Alex's acquaintance"

Upon hearing that, everyone inside the vicinity  suddenly became quiet as they were all speechless from that sudden introduction

"You say what?!?!"

"What the!!!"

"!!!"

"Well that was a total... unexpected"

After awhile Ryuuji then explained to them about how he met Greg and what connection he used to be able to meet up with him

"Unexpectedly  you actually had a guts to request something from the Head General... I don't know if your brave or just... you know what forget it, you won't get it anyway" said Jinwoo as he wash away his thoughts at that moment

"Still your quite something..." said Richard as he too was one of the people thatbgot surprised by the sudden reveal of connections

On the other hand Kanzaki then spoke as he said

"Well atleast you know about weapon manifestation,  even thought none of us knew how to begin connecting with that power, you on the other hand had actually  manage to step unto that realm... so the question is... jow does it feel?"

Of course with a stoic face Ryuuji  then glanced at Kanzaki as he said

"Its better if you find it out for yourself, then you'll  know that it is hard to describe"

"I see..."

After that Jessica and Ai then conversed with Ryuuji about such topic as they investigated more about this manifestation thingy after all as supporters all they had to do is to guide their own users and advice them in such way to increase one's  survivability

Not only they also handles communication between teams and making sure each message is filtered out to avoid any interference or spies

After talking about such random topic for awhile, Richard  then tapped unto the table once more to gain their attention once again

"As for that you guys previously stated that the fugitive went southeast  based in your location and the direction it will take..."

"Yup!" Replied Jessica

"But how do you know it's the Philippines? After all he could mislead you... or trick you into thinking that... you know what I mean"

Hearing that plausible conclusion Ryuuji  then spoke once more

"He's not that kind of person, From those times I've exvhange attacks with him, I was then sure that he is direct and has no time to use flaws or whatsoever,  if he's  directed to Philippines then he will do so"

After him Jessica then spoke up followed by Ai  as they layer the map of the Philippine country

"Based in the situation on the Philippine, before the apocalypse,  this country is filled with industrial places that are for the sake of development, of course due to that when the apocalypse  came these industrial places became barren as they turned into ruin..."

"With such good hiding spot, surely he will use such place as his next hide out"

Of course Isabelle wasn't idle at all as she provided her own information

"Of course by the direction he would take, he would probably be in this direction" she said as she pointed out San Fernando, Virginia, Laoag, Dagupan

"That is quite a wide area" replied Mike

"But such places is plausible"

With that they continued fort on their talk regarding such capture of the fugitive and making sure that there is no gap in every plan
