Chapter 74: [Overtake]

Due to the Chinese Branch of the organization taking out both Ryuuji and Greg out of the mission due to the disappearance of the target, both of them had to instead think up of a place where they can talk the issue

In the end the place that they have picked was a hotel

After everything was set Ryuuji then invited everyone to his room to discuss about what they should do next

Once inside they've blocked the door and applied non external communication barrier, thus creating a space where only they can talk but no one outside can hear it

"Alright! We need to think of a way to succeed here, all I can say is this won't be easy as fighting beast type Chaos monster nor, nor any hybrid or mutated... At least put these on a level of Chaos Knight's, I think Jinwoo knows how hard it is to fight against Chaos Knight's? Am I right?"

Upon hearing such question Jinwoo nodded as he said

"If is true I'm pretty sure in this group I'm the only one that fought a chaos knight, and all I had to say is, they're no joke don't underestimate them"

At this thought Kanzaki and Isabelle remembered their entrance exam in Grandora City wherein they took on a highly suppressed Chaos knight and managed to win in a hair's breath

"Thanks to us I've decided to stay in this hotel for any further instructions, and I'm pretty sure that the Chinese branch of Chaos Breakers has its eyes on us, so don't be reckless" said Ryuuji

"He's right and by the way I'm the one payed all of this so literally you had no contribution" said Greg as he looked at Ryuuji

Upon hearing that, the whole room instead turned dead silent as Ryuuji heaved a huge sigh

At this moment Jessica spoke up

"So how do you plan on doing that?"

"First well gather what we know about it, we will each go in different directions to further widen our search area while Jessica, Isabelle, Ai will be here as they set up their devices and provide support for they had no combat power strong enough to assist us outside... So it's better if we used our time here very well" answered Ryuuji

As they heard that everyone easily nodded on agreement, until Kanzaki raised his hand and asked

"But Ryuuji! If we're going unto different directions then we will have to decide who to go where... So who will go to the north, south, east, and west?"

"And that's what we will have to figure out" said Jinwoo

After thinking through if Greg then spoke up

"Then let me take..."

But before he could finish Jinwoo immediately Intervened

"Then I'll take north"

"I'll take south" said Kanzaki

Hearing that Ryuuji was somehow contented on how much reliable his whole team could become

"Well then I'll take east" said Ryuuji

"And I'll take west for you guys" said Greg

As they decided that a soft girly voice then soon spoke up

"But what about me?"

When they heard that question, all eyes turned to the corner to see Alice shocked by their stare

"Oh right... " Said Ryuuji as he didn't expect to have extra member on their team

"Then I'll take her" said Kanzaki towards Ryuuji before the latter made any decisions

"Huh? Why? We know that you guys are classmates in an Academy and all but why?" Asked Jinwoo

"Cause Alice can't be on her own, she's a sniper, she can't fight on a close range where mostly most people can do, atleast someone has to cover for her" explained Kanzaki

Hearing that Ryuuji then allowed such decision to be made

Upon hearing that Isabelle then happily walked up to Alice as she promised to assist her too

Going back on the topic discussed Ryuuji then said

"As the supporters have to stay inside this room for quite a while, we have atleast one week to investigate outside before our actions would be noticeable on the branches eyes" said Ryuuji

"So this mission is quite a high level and thrilling one" commented Greg

Of course Ryuuji nodded at that comment as Jinwoo spoke up

"Then we will be 1 week outside, so we will have to prepare some commodities for a week"

"That might be the case" said Greg

With that Ryuuji decided to make the other prepare for the mission as he said

"We will commence the operation starting the moment everyone left this room, our mission must be fast and efficient, we need to find undead's new base of operations within a week and save that girl faster than those Chinese"

Upon hearing that Kanzaki then spoke up

"Oh yeah about the girl, you did spoke it up on the phone, but what can she do that your so desperate not to let the Chinese have ahold of her?"

After thinking it through for awhile Ryuuji then decided to tell them the reason for his actions

"That child has the power over life and death"

At this mention the whole room became dead silent as some showed shocked expression while Kanzaki was speechless by a power much broken than foresight ability and copying ability

"Cause of it, you'll know what will happen when the Chinese would be able to find such thing faster than us, that's why we need to overtake their progress"

With that set up in mind everyone slowly nodded as Ryuuji finally commenced that start of the mission

As they left Jessica, Ai, and Isabelle immediately took their stuff towards Ryuuji's room and prepared the supporting equipment inside as for Kanzaki, Alice, Jinwoo, Ryuuji, and Greg they immediately headed for places where they could get their commodities that will last for a week like canned food, water, tissue and etc.

As for kanzaki's side he would have to spend more than stuff that a girl wants since Alice would be tagging along with him

For the part this mission was the most expensive mission they have done

After taking some commodities that will last a week, they soon all arranged them back at the hotel as they tested early and woke up in the dead of night and headed at the four gates of the city

When they got to their position such as the north, south, east, and west side, they then started the Opera by the command of Ryuuji

"Go! Let's move!" Said Ryuuji as stepped it up and flew down the gate towards the destructed city at the East

On the north Jinwoo then puts his scarf on his neck as he too took a leap to vanish into the darkness in the north

As for Greg he immediately ran up and used a motorcycle that was still functioning and rode it out towards the west

Finally Kanzaki faced Alice who was strapping up her case on her back tightly to make sure that it wouldn't fly off

"Scared?" Asked Kanzaki

"Well yeah! But atleast we got to go out together like the old times" said Alice cutely

"Hmm I don't remember that part, but maybe I'll remember it someday" wondered kanzaki

"Well it's understandable if you can't remember it since it was really so long ago even before we got to highschool" said Alice

"Is that so?"

At that moment someone interrupted in the comms

(Excuse me! The others have made they're move so why don't you, you know move?)

Obviously Isabelle heard them thus she broke the ice by telling them that the others have started the mission and dashed of to their targeted searching range

"So how about it? Let's go?" Asked Kanzaki as he looked at the dark city in the south

"Let's go" said Alice in a laugh

With that both Kanzaki and Alice jumped off the wall as they disappeared into the darkness on the south of the city
