That afternoon of the same day that Jinwoo's and Ryuuji's weapon was remade, the former then quickly called up both Alice and Kanzaki in order to have their own weapon upgraded for any possible combat related incident. After all the event in Russia agaisnt the terrorist group only proved the point that they were not strong enough to fight a strong enemy at their current gear.

Before anything else Jinwoo had given it a thought on how to get stronger, after all he had experienced inexplicable defeat multiple times already against stronger enemies, due to that both Kanzaki and Alice would have to risk their life just to save him from deaths door. It was quite a shameful experience. After all as a senior of the group, he should have been the one doing the protecting stuff, but due to his weakness, the role was then reversed causing them to risk their life just to protect him.

Not only doesthis incident lingered in his mind for so long, it also haunst him non-stop as he realized his own weakness. Even though he knows that he is weak, he is not that stupid in order to not figure out how to get stronger. Aside from training ones body and perfecting their skills, the other way to get stronger is having an stronger and appropriate gear in order to contend against tough opponent. That was his belief, so he was not against such upgrades.

They were not masters of combat art, they were not super elite of an organization, nor they are immortals who have overpowered ability, but rather they were humans who are only a bit special than the ordinary humans in this world. They love like a human, they sleep like a human, and love like a human, they were just humans and as humans, they have their own limitations.

Unknown to jinwoo, there were other ways to get stronger and that is the method of genetic lock and the synchronization of the host and its weapon. But such method requires its user to be in a deadly situation.

Even though that is the case, it will come a day when he will learn this things and do even better than it's peers.

Soon as Kanzaki and Alice arrives, Jinwoo brought them to the weapon development office as he explained to them about the upgrades that will be conducted unto the weapon to further enhance the fighting capability of its user. Hearing all the benefits of the upgrade, both Kanzaki and Alice agreed to have their weapons be upgraded to the next level. With that the development team took their weapons and asked the rest of them to return for them on the next day while the same timeframe.

Soon after they left and plan to head back to the dormitory, Kanzaki saw Jinwoo's melancholic expression, as he begun to strike up a conversation between them.

"Let me guess, you have your weapo  upgraded right?"

"Huh? Um no... actually it was recommended to us by the head chiefto have our weapons upgraded, and since I realized that I really needed to upgrade to a higher level, the benefits of the upgrades would definitely help me get stronger"

"But you are already stronger senior Jinwoo, plus you have the chaos eyes of strength enhancement, you could even go toe to toe agaisnt chaos knights, the strongest variation of the chaos beings, for me your plenty strong as it is"

"Is that so? Well I'm glad that you thought of me as such, but for me... I'm still weak... my performance may be effective agaisnt chaos beings, but they are not that effective agaisnt fighting against strong users or creatures that has a human like intelligence... I've realized this fact the hard way, so I will do everything that I can to get stronger"

"So that's how you felt... I didn't know"

"I see... so does this mean you have your weapon also upgraded?"

"Yup! Look at my new weapon which is merged with the essence of Ruyi bang, the monkey kings weapon"

Hearing Jinwoo said that, he then showed his red staff which indicates that this time Jinwoo's weapon had evolved into something akin to divine construct. With this weapon, he would literally become quite  formidable le opponent, even if he doesn't practice his skills. After all this combination is too much of a cheat as it is.

Like that, a day went by as they enjoyed their time together.

The next day at the same time when Kanzaki and Alice had come afterschool hours, they then went straight to the development office and saw the supervisor approaching them while bring two long briefcase"

"Here's your weapon... for the lady, her weapon is now infused with the actual fenrir's bone marrow, which can cause massive damage to any of its target without power up, as for the guy, his weapon now contains two spirits"

"???"

"In fact fafnir's essence is already stronger enough to contend agaisnt tough opponents, but if you want to get stronger, I have no choice but to add another element causing your weapon to have a battle of will inside the sword"

Fenrir, in Norse mythology, is a monstrous wolf, the son of the god Loki and the giantess Angrboða. Foretold to bring about the end of the world, Ragnarök, Fenrir plays a significant role in Norse mythology's apocalyptic events.

As for bahamut, he is the dragon God that is akin or more powerful dragon that can contend agaisnt God like beings, a God killer dragon of some sort. Some lore depicts it as the dragon of justice, while some depicts it as a dragon of chaos.

With such a powerful entity mixed in, it was no wonder why fafnir was disturbed and cause it to be wary against another dimensional type dragon.
