"Make sure you don't trip and embarrass yourself,Shirone!" A middle age man shouted across the hallway,smiling right after.

I smile and wave at my 45 years old father as my final goodbye before I go inside of my classroom.

After a long journey from my village all the way to Arya ,one of the biggest countries in this continent,I will finally be able to take a qualification test and be able to learn in one of the academies.A 16 years old boy who will live his life as a student in academy.

What could possibly go wrong,right?

"Wait,what time is it already?"

The clock shows that I'm already 5 minutes late.

Without thinking much, I immediately ran towards the class with all my energy.

Looks like the classroom door didn't close yet.

The sound of the door opening,all eyes gaze through Shirone who comes late in class on his very first day.

"Isn't he?"

"That boy is?!"

"That can't be?"

Everybody in his classroom know who he is.

"He is just a criminal who's lucky enough to get in this academy."A white hair boy raise his voice with a annoyed tone all across the class.

"C-criminal?"The new boy didn't know what rumor had spread out about him.

The only thing he can do is endure all of it for the time he's in academy.

Time had passed.

Three years of learning in the academy didn't really pay off.I could only attend to an academy's graduation day without any purpose.

All of the Xylem Academy's students are gathering in the hall for the graduation day.

The hall is full of people chattering as the principal goes to the stage and announce the graduation student who passes the class.

While all of the students are celebrating their hard work throughout the years in the academy,one wasn't lucky enough to get the graduation certificate due to the rumor that was spread when he first arrived."Its a shame that due to that rumor,you dont get to graduate from school."A voice coming from my left ear as I turned to where the voice coming from.

"I couldn't care less about that.

Its not that there's no other job for me to look for."

"How can you be so calm about that?Do you really gonna let that rumor going till the end?" "It's already too late to shut it down.I just need to let that be and keep moving forward."

I'll be lying if I say that I don't care about that.

Its just so cruel.I'm the only one that didn't pass despite being one of the top students in the academy.

"Yo,criminal boy.How are you doing?"

A familiar voice from afar.A voice that he hates for a long time.

"Really?Not answering me? That's cruel."

"You should learn to shut your mouth."

"Heh, that's the spirit."

The only person that I hate,trusts and depends on the most.

"You should celebrate with your friends,Darien"

I gaze towards Darien,pointing at his friends,indicating that he shouldn't be with me for too long.

Darien nods and gives a middle finger to me as a goodbye sign.

*This fucking guy.*

I sigh to the fact that I can't change anything.While I reminisce about my future life,something pop up in front of me.

[The trial stage has been complete.]

[Proceed to the next stage.]

"Huh?"

A screen-like message pops up in front of me.The screen look so real to be an edit,yet so wrong to be real.All the faces in the hall look confuse.It looks like I'm not the only one that has this weird screen.

[All of the participants will have to clear next stage to be able to move on the next place.]

As I'm thinking through,my body suddenly feels weird.My head feels dizzy.

Confuse, followed by the realization of where I'm at.An empty white place surrounds me. Looking around,nothing but an empty hollow of endless room.
