CHAPTER 20: I regret saving you

Good morning you are back Charles said with a smile. No , I am not back, are you not seeing me here Deborah said In a scastic manner . Why are you acting like this all of a sudden. Are you asking me why I am acting like this ??? Do you know what, I just want this year to be over so we can finally separate and I would be from this bondage, Deborah shouted . Charles smile melted and turned into anger when he heard the word separate, Now let me tell you something I will repeat myself again if I don't agree to the divorce don't even think about it and one more thing you have not yet treated my headache Charles said in anger wondering why he can't control his emotions around her . Are you sure it is because of headache you married me because before I married you, your headache had been healed already so you are just selfish and just care about yourself, you didn't even care about my feelings. I am just seventeen I am not even an adult and I am already married Deborah said in anger and hot tears cascading down her red checks. I am sorry I didn't know it would hurt you like this, I would have asked for your opinion and not force you into marrying me, Charles said with a soft voice trying to calm her down and not knowing what to do to coax her not knowing why he is feeling pain seeing her cry. Do you think your sorry can solve this problem, see if you are really sorry you would divorce me , Deborah said trying to calm herself from getting angry more than she is . Sorry, I can answer all your requests except that he said pulling back and walking away . See Charles I dont know what stupid debt you are trying to pay because of our childhood though I risked my life saving you but I lost something precious and you expect me to be with you? if that is the case all the people I have saved from childhood I should have married them too Deborah said holding her chest because the pain is too much for her to bear, I am not like those people who expect kindness to be paid back. Hearing that Charles turned cold still backing her , Yes I am selfish and I won't divorce you because I am selfish. It is like you don't know what you are saying, my mother already escaped from death when she was giving birth to me and do you know the reason why she almost died because she rescued your mother Deborah said as she went to him and was poking him on his chest, seeing his shocked face she started laughing like a crazy person. oh you don't know your mother was bound to die but my mother saved her but unfortunately she could not make it or maybe she made it because it is not your father child so she ran away . Charles clentched his fist together in anger and held Deborah on her throat. Don't ever talk about my mother like that Charles said strangling Deborah. If you like kill me but let me tell you something I don't usually regret saving somebody but one thing I regret is saving you. because of if I didn't rescue you my mom wouldn't come out with her heavy pregnancy to look for me and not been knocked down by a car and my dad won't live in regret till this day so you can kill me so I can join my mom . immediately she said that Charles suddenly realized his anger had taken over him and he is strangling Deborah he immediately released her . There is no need for you to come to work you are not feeling too well today just stay at home Charles said in a calm way and left . Not knowing why his chest is paining him so much . As he left, Deborah quickly followed him. Charles don't tell me you are trying to lock me in this house. he ignored her. don't let her out of this house he instructed. wait what !!! Deborah said in shock .

I have never felt this pain before or loose my emotions Charles said to himself holding his chest and recalling what had happened earlier making him to feel more heartache. So I am the cause of her mothers death he said not feeling normal again. so he decided to overwork himself till night.

As he was moving towards the elevator somebody stopped him. Wait, Charles were is Deborah? Richard asked. He turned and looked at him coldly why are you asking about my wife Charles asked with a cold voice. Because it is unlike her and you made us to move out of the house so I can't see her again for the time being Richard still insists knowing something is wrong, she is sick so she can't come to work for now Charles said calmly trying to clear Richard doubt . OK bye tell her I will come visit her tomorrow . No , you can't .

why? Because she looks so bad and she doesn't want anybody to see her in this situation Charles said hurriedly. I can't believe it Deborah loves being carried like a baby especially when she is sick Richard said with curiosity knowing something is wrong. It is actually because she has me, but when she is a little bit okay I will invite you see her Charles said showing no emotion on his face and dismissing Richard before he becomes more suspicious.

Boss I was attacked and I am down the street in the bush, I just want to make sure you are okay Ruth said with a weak voice . I am okay , but don't worry I'm coming to meet you now Deborah said with a panicked voice. As she wanted to leave she suddenly remembered she had been locked inside the house so she decided to use the widow to sneak out of the house. she quickly changed her outfit to a back leather jacket and trouser.

Drive me to the bar Charles said closing his eyes and trying to stop remembering how he strangled Deborah. He didn't know why thinking about everthing is making him feel like he is going this crazy , even though he loved his first girlfriend she didn't make him feel this restless like this especially when he called the house and they told him she refused to leave the room and eat , feeling confused and not knowing what to do has never happened to him making it worse he doesn't seem to have solution to the problem, at first he was very excited when he found her because he can finally protect her but he didn't have any feelings toward her , so why is it like her words are like hot knife persing through his heart .
