"Why?" Charlie asked, sitting on the edge of the bed, slowly massaging Angelica's feet. "You must be tired..."
Angelica wiped her tears, looking at Charlie, instantly reminded of her mother's last message to make Charlie happy, not the other way around.
"What if I'm pregnant?" she asked softly.
"That means we'll have a baby," Charlie replied calmly.
"It means we're truly meant to be together... because of our child."
"Whether there's a child or not, we'll always be together, Honey... Don't think about being with another man again... Just me... Only me... I say this not because I promised your mother, but because I truly love you!" Charlie whispered firmly.
Angelica sighed, then looked down. "But everything will get more complicated."
"What do you mean?"
