On the other end, Davis got out of the elevator and walked to his car. The driver opened his car door for him and he and Liam sat back from the bay.
It was then, when Liam broke the silence. "You scared the girl."
"That girl is Mrs. Walker, Liam."
Davis corrected him again and Liam had to bite his tongue for this. "Mrs. Walker, a title I thought was only on papers."
Davis didn't reply to him but the smile on his face faded away.
"It wasn't necessary to tease her," Liam told him but it hardly seemed concerned. "It's fun to do."
"But can you stop using your grandfather's name in each situation. Both of us know that the old man will not give a damn about this marriage. There's no need for this honeymoon thing."
Liam was blunt. He recalled how he knew his boss brought the topic of his grandfather, afraid Lucy would turn him down if he told her honestly.
In the end, Lucy ended up agreeing. He saw her red face afterward and this man was using his charm on his wife!
