Work

As I woke up, did my morning routine, and went to work. I heard from my colleagues that the new CEO was coming in today, and we all had to come to see him.

As he walked through the door, he caught everyone's charm, including mine.

I remembered that he was the one who saved me. He started to look around to see all my colleagues, and he saw me and started to smile.

His smile was as bright as the sun.

As he walked to the elevator, he looked back at me and winked at me.

Then we all went back to work, but after that, I just couldn't work. He's too handsome. I said.

The day was almost over. I was getting ready to go home when Melvin came up to me and said, "Angelica, what a surprise. It looks like you work here, and I'm your boss. "

Melvin asked me if my work was over, and I replied, "Yeah, it's finished just now."

I have to make dinner at home for myself. "I'll take you to a restaurant," Melvin said, "he insisted that we go."

Furthermore, I told him it was fine. I have food at home. The whole car ride, he didn't say a single word until we got to the restaurant.

It looked fancy from the outside. As we walked into the restaurant, it looked like we were in a castle.

There were people everywhere in dresses and suits, while I was in normal work clothes. I thought I would embarrass Melvin and myself, but he just walked normally while holding my hand, and we sat at a luxurious table.

He ordered himself a meal and asked me what I was going to get. I had to look at the menu, and the price was so expensive that I just ordered the first thing I saw, and that was the steak.

At that moment, someone I despised approached me and asked, "What's a dirty slug doing in the most prestigious restaurant in town?"

I couldn't respond, but it was fine because Melvin approached him and said, "Angelica came with me, so you shut your ass up before I get violent."

At that moment, my heart began to beat a million beats per second, and everyone was staring at us, so I told Melvin to leave, and he did.

As we were about to leave, my ex-boyfriend, Xavier, the one who started to bully me, came with one last message, and he said, "You better go, you peasant."

At that moment, I knew that Melvin was as angry as me, but I had to bear it.

When we both got in the car, he asked me lots of questions, like who was that guy, and I told him that he was my ex-boyfriend Xavier.

We broke up because I caught him cheating on me one night, so since then he has been making my life miserable and I haven't been able to do anything because he is from a prestigious family.

After that conversation with Melvin, he drove me back home, and as soon as I got into my bed, I lost all consciousness.
