When a small ray of light shone into the bedroom from the gap in the curtains, Kate Beckinsale woke up, but she didn't move. Instead, she took two deep breaths and then slowly opened her eyes. This was the first time she had slept so well in the past half month. She sighed lightly, carefully raised half of her body, and then looked at the little girl sleeping beside her.
Catherine's sleeping appearance was really not flattering at all. Although her little face lying on the pillow was red, her golden brown hair scattered on the pillow made her look more cute, and there was even a faint sign of saliva flowing from the corner of her mouth, she climbed on Kate like a sloth, and used her hands and feet. Did she think she was holding a koala? !
But Kate just looked at her quietly, occasionally stroking her hair lovingly. The scene of their first meeting was still vivid in her mind. The little girl who ran away from home secretly, broke her leg and sat on a bench at the corner of the street, staring at every passerby with a fierce look. They rarely quarrel, but when they do, it's a big fight, like the time the little girl asked her to quit smoking. But every time they quarrel, their feelings get deeper, which is why she rarely treats her as a child. But what makes Kate most depressed is that although she is 7 years older than her, she is always taken care of more.
Last night they chatted until late at night. The little girl told Kate in detail the reasons and consequences of her coming to London, which surprised Kate. Listening to her vivid and interesting things, she threw all her worries behind her head. She thought she should cheer up. However, the damn little guy actually cared about her sex life. I really don't know what she was thinking!
At this moment, she suddenly felt a sour and numb feeling in her chest. Kate, who was caught off guard, almost moaned. She gritted her teeth and looked down. The little girl actually grabbed her chest through her underwear and bit it.
Damn Cathy, Kate was a little amused. Could it be that she was still thinking about breastfeeding at the age of 11? ! She wanted to break free, but was afraid of waking up the little girl, so she had to gently grab her hand. Who knew that Catherine, who was getting more aggressive, was groaning in a daze while biting and licking through her shirt, and occasionally quarreling, as if she was eating something with relish.
Kate resisted the pleasure of moaning and tried to withdraw from her arms and thighs, then pulled away when the little girl quarreled again, but this bed was just a single bed with little space, and she accidentally fell to the ground, and Catherine, who wanted to continue, missed, muttered, turned over and went back to sleep.
Kate, who fell to the ground, looked at the large pool of saliva on her chest, and got up angrily and annoyed. She wanted to give the little girl who was facing away from her a hard slap on the butt, but after thinking for a long time, she couldn't bear to do it. She had to scratch her head and wash up first, and then go to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
However, because of the little girl's "indecent" behavior, Kate was too lazy to be careful about the noise, and she entered the kitchen and started to work hard. As a result, Catherine finally opened her eyes in a daze, fumbled on the bed for a while to determine where she was, sat up from the quilt, stretched her body, opened her mouth with all her strength and yawned, shaking her head at the same time, like the lion that always appears before the movie produced by MGM.
"Hi, Kate, good morning." Catherine jumped out of bed and greeted while walking to the bathroom in a daze.
Kate just hummed a simple word without answering. The little girl who didn't notice anything at all came to the kitchen door after washing her face and brushing her teeth, and said with her still sleepy eyes: "Do you need my help?"
"Wait at the table obediently, there is milk there." Kate answered without turning her head.
The little girl shrugged, sat down at the table, opened a bottle of milk and took a few sips. She seemed to remember something and suddenly turned to Kate in the kitchen and asked, "Hey, Kate, is there a Chinese restaurant near here?"
"I don't know, why are you asking this?" Kate looked back at her
"I wonder if you can buy me some buns if possible." The little girl looked at her back hopefully.
"Buns? What are those?"
"A kind of food, made of flour, round, with a pointy top, filled with stuffing, very delicious." Catherine gestured, but Kate had no intention of turning around.
"Why do you suddenly want to eat this... bun?" Kate asked, frowning at the same time. It's round and pointed at the top. Why does it seem like she's talking about something?
The little guy smiled embarrassedly and said, "This morning I dreamed that I was eating buns. They were white, tender, big and round, but there was not enough stuffing. I couldn't get it after taking a few bites."
Catherine was talking to herself and didn't notice that Kate was already frowning and her hands were shaking while holding the frying pan.
"I thought if I took a few more bites, I'd reach the filling, but I didn't hold it properly and it flew out of my hands. It was such a pity," Catherine was saying when suddenly there was a loud bang as a porcelain plate was forcefully placed in front of her. Kate, glaring fiercely and gritting her teeth, said, "Only fried eggs! No buns!"
Startled, Catherine shrank back, unsure of what she had said wrong. She watched as the displeased Kate sat down across from her with another plate. Catherine wisely decided to keep quiet and focused on her fried eggs and sausages.
After breakfast, as per last night's agreement with Mr. Sparrow, Kate took Catherine back to the Ritz Hotel.
"How about coming up with me for a bit?" The little girl, who had been silent during the ride, cautiously suggested once they got out of the car.
Seeing her pitiful expression, Kate's anger vanished. She smiled and shook her head. "I can't. I've missed nearly a month of school, and I don't want to risk not graduating from high school."
"Oh, come on, Kate," Catherine shrugged. "For a young writer who's won the W.H. Smith Writing Competition twice, is there really a chance of not graduating? Besides, it's Sunday, dear."
At that moment, a familiar voice filled with surprise and joy came from behind them. "You're back, Cathy?!"
"Hi, Jessie!" Catherine turned to greet Jessica, who ran over and pounced on her, feet off the ground, giving her a tight hug. If Kate hadn't been supporting the little girl, they might have turned into a rolling ball.
"Oh my God, you're squeezing me to death," Catherine exclaimed, recalling the scene from early that morning but now feeling it was just right.
"That's what you get for staying out all night, leaving me alone in the room!" Jessica made a face, her joy evident.
Following her out of the hotel were Aunt Jennifer and Mr. Sparrow. Catherine quickly greeted everyone, noticing they still planned to continue their tour of London that day. This made her even more determined to have Kate join them and get some fresh air.
"Kate, join us for a walk. You know, even though I come back every year, I'm still not as familiar with the place as you are." Without waiting for an answer, Catherine began introducing Kate to everyone. She also wanted to introduce Julia, but Jessica mentioned that Julia had been recognized by fans while out yesterday and didn't want to come out. Though Catherine wasn't sure what had happened, Julia's reluctance to go out clearly indicated something had upset her, so she let it go.
Having no other choice, Kate resigned herself to being their tour guide for the day. Since Jessica had already seen Westminster Palace and Big Ben yesterday, they spent the day wandering through the streets and alleys of London. As the day progressed, Kate became more cheerful, a stark contrast to the person Catherine had met yesterday, which relieved the little girl greatly.
"Alright, Cathy, I'm leaving now. Thank you," Kate said, kissing the little girl on the forehead as she prepared to head back after returning to the hotel with them.
"Kate, take care on your way back. Come visit me if you have time; I'll be here for several more days." Catherine, who had escorted Kate out alone and hailed a cab for her, sternly added, "And no more drinking!"
"Alright, Cathy, don't talk to me like a big sister. I'm older than you!" Kate scolded her with a glare.
"Okay, okay, goodbye." Catherine laughed, hugging Kate before helping her into the cab. She waved until the car drove off before turning back to the hotel.
Just then, Nancy's voice came sharply from one corner of the hotel, uncharacteristically stern compared to her usual gentleness. "Mark, that's not an excuse! I told you long ago to contact the owners about filming needs, but now you're telling me they don't agree? Do you know how much it costs us for each day of delay?"
