THIRTY

Answering the call from the knocker, Avery immediately rolled out of her comfortable bed and left the fashion magazine still wide open on her bed. The call came from the butler at Laiv's mansion. Just five days ago Laiv had told her that Magda was the butler of his mansion. No wonder at that time Avery often saw Magda hanging around. Even that woman was the first to greet her very kindly when she woke up in a strange place that is now her home.

"Lunch, ma'am," said Magda politely.

Avery glanced at the clock on her wall and only then realized that she had spent hours rolling around on the bed.

"I'll come down later." Avery replied uncertainly. She feels that she doesn't need lunch because she often skips lunch when she has breakfast in the morning. But she deliberately didn't say that in front of Magda so as not to offend the kind butler. "Thanks for the reminder me, Magda."

"It is my duty, ma'am. Then excuse me."
