Carta Planar

Jin Konoe, that's my name. I'm still in my second year of high school. Except of my black belt in karate and proficiency in some other martial arts, I don't really have anything special to be note of. My looks is above average, my body is muscular, I love playing games and reading novels. If you ignore the fact that I killed someone before, I can be considered as an athletic looking student which is not that uncommon either. One day though, I accidentally found a glowing card in my backyard and after picking it up, I ended being involved into a life and death game that involve the entire universe. After being involved in this game, I found out about many things that I never thought would exist and I decided to start paving my own path to survive in this game. _____________________________ Hello guys, I'm still learning how to write properly so forgive me if there any mistakes on the spelling and grammar. 5. Ruined Shrine

"Master, I'm back with a good news" (Scour Girl)

"Good job, now tell me what did you see inside."(Jin)

She then proceed to tell us about her findings. Since she got power up by Sil skill, she were able to kill most of the low grade monsters that she met inside the shrine.

In total there are 7 rooms exist inside the shrine and each room has an altar with a wooden box shrouded with vines on top of it. Though from all 7 boxes, 5 of them already in the opened state when she get inside the room and for the last 2 rooms that still have the unopened boxes, they are guarded by a creature stronger than herself but she said that they are absolutely weaker than Sil.

So with that newly gained information, we went inside the shrine and raid it. Since the scout girl has disposed most of the wandering monsters in here, our journey was very smooth.

We then checked the rooms that have the opened boxes first to see if there any hidden treasure left and found 3 more cards hidden bellow one of the altar. From the 3 cards that I got, 2 are follower type card and the other one is an artifact type card.

The two follower cards that I got were called fox spirits and unfortunately belonged to another faction while the last card were neutral that can be used by all the faction.

[Steel Sword] - Artifact Card

Grade : Lead

Faction : Neutral

Cost : 4 Mana

Power : 20

Durability : 20/20

All 3 cards that I gained were Lead grade cards so it was a shame that I couldn't use 2 of them.

After we finished checking all of the 5 rooms, we went to the last 2 guarded rooms. When we entered one of them, Sil immediately stood before my group and deflected the enemy attack.

If it not for her then I would get hurt for sure as I was the one who opened the door of the room. Then without saying Sil dominated the fight against the guardian. At some point it even looks like Sil was playing with the guardian.

As I don't want to waste anymore time, I told Sil to finish it quickly then she moved as I ordered and killed the guardian immediately.

When I asked her why did she didn't finish it sooner, she said that she want me to look at her fight and get used to it for future references. Of course after hearing her reason, I became embarrassed once again.

After the fight, we opened the bluish gray colored closed chest on the altar but as I was about to open it, I got a notification from the system that I just got more GP from opening this chest.

[You have opened a Lead grade hidden chest, you have received 50 GP]

[Congratulation, you got 1 Lead grade card pack from your faction]

When I look at the reward from the chest, I got confused as this is the first time I got a card pack instead of a card. Sil then told me that a card pack contained 6 cards in total and one of them will be at least the same grade with the grade of the pack itself while the rest of the cards grade is random but it won't generate cards with grade above the card pack grade itself.

After hearing her explanation, I opened the card pack and luckily got 2 Lead grade cards from the 6 cards. Among the 6 cards, 2 of them are cards that I already have, the scout girl apprentice and the swordsman apprentice.

As for the other 4 new cards here is their status.

[Steel Armor] - Artifact

[Cavalrian Trooper] - Follower

After I got this 6 cards, I summoned 3 more followers card that cost me nothing and also summon the armor for my own use as well. With the sword that I summoned before, now I have the basic needs to fight, but before that I need to learn how to fight first.

Fortunately I have Sil that can teach me how to fight. Even though she is actually a spear user, she still have basic skills in other weapons as well, sword included so she can at least teach me the basic first.

Now, If one pack can give me this much cards, then I can't help to expect what I can gain from the last chest. As there's nothing left to do in this room, we proceed to the most corner and last room of this shrine.

Learned from my previous mistake, I didn't open the door myself this time and let Sil to open it.

When we entered the room, there's nothing we could see inside, the room is completely covered in darkness but when we step inside, bluish fire started to light up on the wall and lighten up the room a little bit.

Inside the room is a girl wearing a black kimono sitting in seiza position with both of her eyes closed. Behind her is the altar and a bronze colored chest.

The girl has a long blue naginata resting on her laps and a short dagger strapped on her left waist. Though she looks intimidating and quite strong, Sil told me to keep calm as she is much stronger than the girl guardian.

After being assured by Sil, we start to walk in closer to the guardian. The strange thing here is that the girl guardian didn't even move a little bit while we were getting closer to her.

She only open her red ruby eyes when we got in front of her. Unexpectedly rather than fighting, she spoke to us.

"Hello visitors, it's really been a very long time since this shrine has receive a guest, especially someone with a caliber such as you." (???) She said while looking at Sil.

I was so surprised by the fact that she just spoke to us. Though with Sil in front of me, I know that I'm safe from her harm so I just went and reply to her.

"You can talk?"(Jin)

"Of course I can, though I'm guarding this ruined shrine which doesn't look much, I'm still a Silver grade card."

"Wait, then why are you guarding this run down place then? No, wait... How can a silver grade card like you even doing in this match? This match was supposed to be a rookie match right? Aren't you to high leveled for this kind of game?"(Jin)

I expected for this girl to answer but unexpectedly the one who replied to me was Sil.

"Master, I have told you about the existence of ruined worlds before right? Well I forgot to mention that most of the game match stage is located at those ruined worlds. "(Silvanaz)

"Then we are currently inside one of those ruined worlds now aren't we... If that was the case then is there any possibilities of the ruined worlds inhabitants to stay inside this world under some circumstances, such as you?"(Jin)

"Giggle Your little master here is quite smart isn't he? You are correct on this one. Though most of the inhabitants of this world left when this world got ruined, some of them including me stayed behind... no it would be more correct to say that we are trapped in this world."(???)

'Trapped? What did she mean by that?' (Jin)
