Chapter 2: Desperate Struggle

Andy fought with every ounce of strength he had, but the beast was too powerful. Just as he thought all was lost, Max appeared, striking the beast with a nearby pipe.

"Come on, Andy! We need to get out of here!" Max yelled.

Andy scrambled to his feet, and together they fled the scene. The beast gave chase, but they managed to outrun it.

As they caught their breath, a bright light enveloped them. The world around them changed, and they found themselves in a strange, virtual landscape.

Andy and Max defeated the Primitive-level beast, a mutated cat, and earned their first 100 Beast Bounty points. As they caught their breath, Max's dog appeared, its eyes glowing in the dark.

"Whoa, easy boy!" Max said, holding up his hands calmingly. "It's us, Andy and Max. We're not going to hurt you."

The dog growled, its fur standing on end. Andy and Max slowly backed away, trying to calm it down.

"Easy, boy. It's okay," Max repeated, his voice soothing.

The dog took a step closer, its eyes fixed on them. Andy and Max held their breath, hoping it wouldn't attack.
