Malice

With the crown prince leading the way, the emissary and his gaurd soon appeared at a grand castle.

It was meticulously decorated with corals and oceanic pearls, and a unique light rippled across the across the currents around it, it was clearly a palace for royalty.

"Please, these are your quarters. As you can see we took great pains to prepare them, my father the king will immediately prepare to recieve you." The crown prince shivered as he spoke, not even daring to maintain eye contact with the emissary.

"If my lord requires nothing else, I will tske my leave." , Then with a stiff bow he hurriedly escaped into the ocean currents.

"Royal father!" As if he had gone mad the crown prince, hurriedly flew into his father's throne room.

He was still spamming in fear and his aura was in complete disarray.

Seeing his normally calm and astute son show such an appearance, lord Pontus's eyes furrowed with dissatisfaction. "My son, have you forgotten what I've always told you. The most important thing to a monarch is his bearing, as the future ocean king you can never allow yourself to show such an appearance."

Unfortunately his frantic son ignored his word as he yelled hysterically. "Father, the emissary has done the unthinkable! Konsul spoke rashly to him and then the emissary....he...he actually destroyed his divine power with the Fiend emperor poison."

The crown prince then in great detail, illustrated exactly what happened.

After hearing the disdainful words the emissary had said, along with how he had destroyed his son and taken him captive as well as blatantly killing gaurds of the palace, Pontus seethed with great rage: "I knew that they would adopt an aggressive stance and also make a show of force. This was always in our predictions, but how could they go this far!" He roared as his rage reached his genuine limit, however it all dissipated into a bleak helplessness the next moment.

"Alas there is nothing we can do." Pontus sighed in defeat as he slumped back into his chair. "While harsh the emissary spoke no lies. The reason we wanted to establish a relationship with them was because they were stronger than us. And since we allowed the engagement to be destroyed, the fault lies with us. Even if they invaded our capital, there would be nothing we could say or do!"

Pontus spoke mildly in a defeated tone, still hiding within his eyes was incredible malice!

Even if he dared not show it, how could he possibly accept such humiliation.

In the meantime Canaan beheld the beautiful capital of the house of oceanus. Rather than the Imposing and heroic air the hous of Arzul embodied, the house of Oceanus glowed with a soft and gentle beauty.

But Canaan saw none of it. Through his eyes of hatred he saw the capital razed to nothing and the blood of Nerieds and Mermaids painting the streets wantonly as their corpses lay broken.

His demonic beast had already began harvesting the flesh of the entire royal family, and Pontus's head sat on a stake.

"Destroying something so beautiful is definitely a rare pleasure." Canaan laughed as a but of Madness entered his eyes.

"Hmm" He sounded thoughtfully as a dark light glinted in his eyes.

Suddenly a deep crimson light unfurled before him fading to reveal a bound and shivering figure.

The person was was covered in dark green wounds that glowed with the light of rot and vicous poison.

Despite only being in the chamber for a few moments, a pool of blood and sweat had already collected beneath him.

"Oh my young sea king, you don't look so good!" Canaan sneered evilly in his original voice.

The moment the shivering Konsul heard his voice he suddenly froze, his previously hazy eyes focusing on the emissary.

"What's wrong young sea king? Having trouble remembering a insignificant "mortal toy?"" Canaan said as his disguise burned away, leaving behind his original form.

"It's you!" Konsul roared in terror.

"Yes its me." Canaan mimicked in mock surprise. At the same time something peculiar happened to the surroundings:

A crimson wave of light descended onto the world, wherever it touched, ripples spread through space, slowly changing the scenery.

The vast and beautiful palace around them disappeared and was slowly being replaced by a wasteland devastated by negative energy and filled with demonic beast.

Konsul, who had born witness to the whole process felt his soul churn and his eyes wide to their maximum possible limit.

"How are you here?How.....did...you...do....any....of...this? Just how.....is....this.....possible?" Konsul roared out in a hoarse voice. He was still experiencing the pain and terro of being consumed by the Fiend emperor poison, but for a moment the sheer shock and horror he felt cleared his mind and allowed him to speak.

"Hmmm" Canaan sounded thoughtfully with the ambience of a teacher. "Your pathetic mortal mind could not understand the workings of my power even if I spent an eternity explaining it you.

But I guess I am about to brutally torture you to death so I owe it to you to try." Canaan concluded while rubbing his chin.

Then with the ambience of a virtuous teacher he spoke. "I do not exist in a fixed reality as you nortals do. The laws of existence matter not to me, only my will does.

As long as I have the desire I can be where I wish to be with a thought, surrounding by who I want to be with; their every trait, their very existence will be a mere toy I can manipulate at will.

I cannot traverse the laws of time and space, life and death or even creation and destruction.

I can not directly revoke ones life nrr give it. The beings I create will have power and form but no will and sentience, mere puppets for eternity.

I cannot create from nothing. Nor can I return what is already created to nothing.

My powers cannot refuse the laws of time nor can they forget the restrictions of 'space.'

But outside these, I am omnipotent!" Canaan said with a pause before continuing.

"Before you ask, we are still in your clan, however we also simultaneously exist in this wasteland.

What used to be a single layer of reality has been splintered into a complex nexus at my mere whim. Such is the nature of my power!"

"ah....ah" Seeing a person he had judged as beneath his notice reappear as the cause of all his woes like some sort of vengeful phantom, Konsul felt even more paralyzed by fear.

"Please forgive me. If you a here to collect a dept there are many other ways it can repaid. What dow you want, women, fame, power, I can give them all to you...just please dont kill me!" Kobsul's body spasmed bith as a result of the Fiend emperor posion and his own terror as his eyes contracted in alarm.

"You actually have the guts to beg for mercy!" The amiable smile on Canaan's face faded away, replaced by a demonic malevolence as his facial features twisted into a terrifying mask of venom. His hands trembled slightly, as he revealed his endless killing intent and resentment that he had always just barely kept under control….

"On the day of the Great wrath assembly, you tried to get me arrested for speaking out against your evil schemes. !!"

For the sake of the name behind you, you were fawned over by the weaker house of Arzul the same way you now fawn over the toxin immortals, and you didn't hesitate to use that to falsely frame my friend Lothal, force him into a prison, extract him, and then cruelly sacrifice him with a Murdering Heart formation!

He was a pure soul and he had never harmed anyone, and yet you killed him simply because of your greed.

How does a wretch such as you deserve to live when he doesn't!?

Just how much should I make you suffer, to let you pay off this debt!?"

With a roar of anger Canaan placed a heavy kick right above Konsuls abdomen, causing him to moan in pain as he crumpled onto the floor as continued to spasm periodically.

Canaan took deep breaths as he beheld Konsul's pathetic form, however the rage he felt had actually not died out in the slightest.

Canaan's then glowed with unspeakable malice as he spoke. "Don't worry sea prince. I will not kill you, nor can I bear to kill you. Rather I've prepared a great gift for you, one you are certainly going to enjoy!"

Sudde from the billowing dark a menacing scuttle arose as a creature made its way towards the group of two.

"Say hello to you new friend!" Canaan announced with a warm smile as the creature finally appeared through the dark mist. Konsuls already spasming eyes began to shrink at an even greater pace.

Nightmare! The creature before him could only be described with such a word. It was as if nature had spent a great deal of imagination in creating the nightmarish creature.

Its exoskeleton, a ghastly mottled dark green, gleamed with a malevolent sheen, each segment rippling with the promise of horrors beneath.

The creature was about 7 meters tall, its bulbous body a mass of interlocking plates that made it appear both invincible and utterly alien.

From the depths of its gaping maw, strands of thick, viscous venom dripped like the saliva of a rabid beast, pooling onto the damp forest floor. The venom was a sickly yellow-green, emitting a faintly luminescent glow that painted the area around the creature in a bilious light. Each drop that hit the ground sizzled, leaving a trail of decay in its wake, hinting at the corrosive power contained within.

It had a fierce name that appeared only in nightmares. It was the Nightmare Deathoid!

Konsul body trembled at even greater pace when he beheld its horrible form. Now the light in his eyes was truly broken and the only thing would could see from within was a deep despair.

His eyes found Canaan's in an unsaid plea for mercy but he would get none.

The creature's limbs, each tipped with vicious, scythe-like claws, remained poised and ready to strike, yet it did not advance. Instead, it regarded the newcomer with a set of glowing, multifaceted eyes that bore into the very soul of the trembling human. However when its gaze touched upon Canaan, the creature's antennae quivered, as if sensing something beyond the mere presence of another living being.

To the astonishment of the Konsul, the monstrous insectoid's posture shifted dramatically. It lowered its massive head, the antennae drooping to the jungle floor in a display of submissive loyalty.

Then in a terrifying, grating voice it actually spoke. "Welcome my lord!"

Canaans eyes widened with shock and as did Konsul's. For a moment the hated enemies actually shared a quality...only ones emotion was simply pleasant surprise while the other was filled with a terror that could no longer be described with words.

Canaan smiled in return at this pleasant surprise. Even he had not anticipated that the evolution his blood provoked in these beast would have given them the intelligence and ability to speak: 'Oh, interesting!' He thought with visible excitement.

"Tear his arm and leg muscles, gouge out his eyes, rupture the canal in his ears, and lacerate the flesh, slice off his nose, tear out his tongue, break each and every one of his teeth, one after the other and wrench out all of his hair, break his arms and legs, and tear of his third led… And at the same time, leave his life veins and vital organs intact, allowing him to perfectly live on!!!

Then everyday saturate his body with posion, not enough to kill him, however enough to push him into an eternal Abyss of pain!" Canaan commanded.

Ah, ah, ah…" Konsul let out a strange cry filled with extreme horror, his four limbs wildly trembled and between his thighs, yellowish liquid flowed down to the ground.

Now even the cruel insectoid predator cocked its head in surprise at its master brutality. However it could never question or defy his order, and so with a bow it spoke again. "It shall be done my lord."

Then as it picked up the spasming Konsul it scuttled to its lair through the billowing waves of darkness, his screams echoing across the dark terrain.
