The Streamer

"Yes, you will get a good cut from all the donations," Malissa yelled without Moros even having to ask for it.

She knew him too well and did not want to argue with a naked lunatic about the payment for his job as a cameraman.

Before he had spoken a word Moros' concerns and wishes were all fulfilled, so with a big smile on his face he made his way to Poppycock. On his way he found a suitable candidate for a clothes exchange.

After a quick submission hold, Moros could convince the man to take a nap.

New clothes had been acquired with ease.

The random, new naked man sleeping so peacefully on the dungeon floor was to be ignored…he had just fallen onto tough times and Moros did not want to kick a man while he was down.

Had he moved he would have kicked him while he was down, but the man was luckily sound asleep.

Moros was now rocking an outfit that screamed beggar fashion, with a crude top t-shirt with holes all over it and jeans filled with all sorts of strange liquids and colours stemming from all sorts of things.

His feet were dressed in the famous socks with big toes opening hole in the front and his jacket was the famous hobo-elegant design with a patchwork of many different fixtures and gang affiliations.

With swagger and new found confidence Moros rocked this outfit and approached Malissa with a big step.

That had been a lot of easy money, she did all the hard work and he got a lot of the donations simply for not speaking and holding a camera.

"Life sure can be great, if one was not constantly fucked over by some Godly beings…"

Moros gave a stern look at the flying dollar bill and the wolf that did not feel like they had been addressed by those words of his.

"Because I can tell. You guys are trying your hardest to make my life absolutely horrible…"

Of course, these words were ignored and ignorance was feigned.

The dollar bill floated and acted like it was doing Moros a saviour by keeping him alive, while the wolf strengthened the meaning of family and that following the duty of freeing them from their body was a godly gesture that would make him stronger than ever before.

Moros would have been happy with just earning a lot of money. But strength was certainly a tool to ensure that he kept enough of his money.

From afar he was Malissa watching him intently, seeming almost thankful that he was wearing clothes again.

Were Moros' male ego not all about earning money, he would have been very hurt by her facial expression. Though as a man of his calibre, with his commitment to be paid for his services─such a thing did not even enter his mind.

He simply approached his best friend with 2 goals in mind. The first one was to learn more about her strategy for streaming and the second one was about getting his money.

Malissa casually walked towards Moros with a happy expression on her face. She had made a lot of money today, much more than usual.

She did have to buy Moros into silence, though investments like that were considered a good initial payment. A good cameraman could enhance the scene, after all.

Or in her scenario lose his clothes and run around fully nude.

Moros might be looking like a homeless maniac, running away from the police, but at least he was dressed now and not giving her mental damage due to the circumstances and the flopping wieners.

She embraced Moros, not daring to take in a breath since he was covered in more monster guts than her.

"Buddy, I am so glad to have you! This has been the most profitable day since ages. Thank you for letting me in here.!"

Moros returned the favour and felt excited by the revelation. The most exciting day meant the most money he could be getting out of this situation would come true.

He simply chose to let her show affection and enjoy the day.

"Though why are you dressed the…let us just say interesting the way you currently walk around?"

Malissa could not comprehend how and where he had gathered these clothes in such a hurry. It was not like beggars were sleeping in the dungeon, because that was very not legal and could be punished with a death penality.

"I just…uh borrowed it, from a very humble man that saw my state and gave me these clothing because I clearly needed it more than he did."

This was the best explanation that Moros could come up with and it was also the hardest to believe, since it made no sense in the first place.

Malissa thought for a second if she should ask follow-up questions, but she too could not be bothered to ask him. It was not her problem, so she did not bother asking further.

Her stream was not banned, she did gather a lot of donations and new viewers. The stream was a full success that is all that mattered to her at this very moment.

Being a streamer was just that much of a stress on her daily life that her priorities had to shift to accommodate it.

Entertaining her fans, creating interesting content, dressing up, creating a good atmosphere, dealing with weirdos, dealing with weirdos with money and so on, the list was endless.

Her new career choice had been chosen after great consideration; it was a necessary step into the right direction.

She needed all these funds to save for her dream, visiting and studying at the world renowned famous university of Elysium "Hairward Academy"

Becoming a teacher required such a great uni and such a great place needed so much money that streaming became a necessary preparation for her intended career path.

Malissa sighed, she did not want to think about just how many days she had to have like these to be able to visit the school.

Moros, on the other hand, had less stronger ambitions that her. His aim was at the large piece of the monster core cake that she had been gifted by her fans.

His mind was already racing on how to maximise his efficiency as a camera man to set her into scene and earn some good, old-fashioned money. Money was on the mind and debt on his soul and body….

Several business strategies were considered. He thought about giving her all sorts of different outfits that would entertain people in different ways. He thought about more visual spectacles like a burning evergreen Forest.

He thought about cross-dressing or hiring someone to crossdress for him to farm him for cloud and get famous.

Other options included hiring some of the thugs or drug addicts to attack her and create some cheap drama. Faking her being kidnapped, or about her becoming the leader of a team consisting out of these weird, foreign type of criminals.

The best idea was to build her image further and develop it in a direction that still makes her money without just relying on the aspect of using sex-appeal to gain donations for her cause.

But Moros stopped himself from thinking too far in the future, he needed to adapt his strategies to her plans, since she was the main appeal behind the streaming business idea.

For a second he too thought how it might be like to be a streamer too, but these hopes were dashed and broken into a million pieces as Malissa opened her mouth yet again.

"Who knew that this site used by women to find suitable, rich men to court them would be so great for me?"

Moros could not believe his ears: Woman could do that? Moros cursed himself for being male. The world truly was unjust and liked to discriminate against him at any given chance.

He too wanted to be courted by people and be thrown a lot of money at…the first part of this sentence was not as important as the latter one was.

For the very first time in his life he felt absolute envy about Malissa. Being in her skin he totally would have made enough money to last him 5 lifetimes over…and all that without killing trillions of Ballas.

Moros sighed heavily, but he could not complain since he was quite close to a nearly infinite money source, meaning it would be stupid to not support her in her quest to extract more and more money out of these fools.

"It really is great, I just need to give a nice smile and a lot of people already want to win me over…but all they will ever get is a nice lecture into the monsters that live everywhere."

She laughed heartily…

"I am thankful that I am paid to do what I love, long before I am allowed to teach the next generation of magicians!"

Moros really wanted to tell her to continue earning more money, but he kept quiet since he had yet to get his cut… a lot of money was on the line…

Swallowing all his saliva, he stared at Malissa as if she was made out of pure gold:

"Malissa…tell me more about the site you are working for!"
