An Awkward Reunion

Looking at the pool in front of me, I walked towards it crossing the two pillars making this small corridor-like figure. The room’s lights were dim as small lit-up candles decorated the borders of the pool. Everything inside of the mansion was mesmerizing.

I sat at the border of the pool and dipped my feet inside the cold and calming waters while my hands were resting behind my back, supporting me from falling.

I swirled and moved my feet inside the cold water as my neck tilted to the side while my eyes closed unconsciously from the relaxation that I felt.

My stomach grumbled aloud as I looked at the glass ceiling trying to calm myself from the hunger that I was feeling as the face of my mother immediately protruded inside my head.

She walked towards me as the fabric of her skin hugged the shape of her legs as it swayed from the wind that came inside the house from the huge delicate glass windows.
