Well, I still don't know if he might be a "hot face" without brains, but tell me, who cares? He's got the face and the body, and to top that, he is a fucking rich guy. Swears I'll die here.

"We're here," Daniel said. He unbuckled his seat belt and got out of the car. He walked to my side of the car and opened the passenger's door for me. Awwww, so sweet!

Daniel took my hand in his, and we walked inside the restaurant. A beautiful lady in a uniform walked up to us. "Welcome, sir. This way," she said, leading the way to a private room on the second floor.

Daniel held my hand all the way, and I couldn't stop blushing. "Are you okay" he asked.

I closed my eyes, took a deep breath before turning my head to face him. "Yeah, I'm okay." Now that I think about it, it's the second time tonight that I stared at his face.

His face was only one inch away from mine. I felt my heart hammering in my chest. Was he going to kiss me? We stood still, staring at each other's faces.

Untill I heard bella clear her throat "aheem, are u guys going to sleep in the elevator or what" oh right I totally forgot bella was here, I'm quite of a shitty friend.

I'm starting to loose my mind, and it's all his fault. It's better to keep a safe distance between us, starting now.

Just as I was about to leave, Daniel grabbed my hand, and pulled me back.

"Hey wh...."

"I love to hold your hand" he interrupted

My face turned red immediately, and I quietly followed him as he led the way to the private room.

"Oh finally, you two decided to join me" bella said feigning a look of disappointment

"Oh sorry we were busy with something, couple things" he said and winked

Bella laughed leisurely "Oh wow, I should also get a boyfriend "

For a moment, I was struck dumb, standing still. "Hey don't just stand there, come and sit" bella said patting the sit next to her

"You ain't her date, I am! She has to sit with me," he said with a firm tone.

"Oh wow I almost forgot, sorry my bad"

I felt dry mouthed, this two were talking like I'm invisible, like I don't even exist. I felt wronged, Damn stupid date, and stupid friend.

I crossed my arms over my chest "you guys can't choose for me...." I said and went to sit down next to Daniel "I'll sit where I want to".

I did that cause I was already angry at bella

"Oh looks like u're choosing him over me" she played at being heartbroken

"U deserve it bitch" I answered.

Just as we were about to continue pouring insults at each other Daniel called the waiter.

If bella doesn't need face I do, so I just had to keep quiet and order my food. Those babies are innocent

Daniel on the other side looks like he's not interested in the food, he picked up the menu and slumps lazily in his chair he shrugged and order a few dishes.

And my picky friend was like, "I don't want much, I just want apple pie and please melt cheese on top, add kale and red pepper saute, I love that....and please, please, please bring tuna salad" just as she closed the menu she immediately opened it back saying

"oh, I forgot something. i also want Mac n' cheese. please add Curry powder inside... And never forget the bloody Caesars!"

I stared at her in shock, even the waiter was dumbfounded I never knew she could be so shameless.

I peeped at Daniel to see if he was bothered, but he looked unfazed. Still, he sat down lazily on his chair, playing with his phone.

I picked up the menu to order, and everything costs a fortune. Then my gaze fell on the word 'caviar' I was so sure I heard Daniel order caviar. Holy shit, that food cost 5000! My whole salary for for twenty years. Not like I have a job, but how rich was this dude?

"Uhh, I'll take a burger with all the toppings," I said. I didn't want to sound picky like Bella, and also I don't eat much, so a burger will do.

Bella crossed her arms over her chest and glared at me. "Abeg sha the bobo say may u help am save money nih, abi Wetin be ur own, u dey order burger. Abeg make nobody blame me oo, I no dey to like to pretend," she said in Pidgin language. It's a Nigerian thing.
