We won the match, and some were celebrating, and some didn't. Annie then walks to me.

"Idiot, you are not allowed to play when you are injured." She shouted at me.

"But we won, right?" I replied.

"Never mind, it's useless to argue with you." She sighed.

"So you do know that, huh? Good girl…" after I said that, she held my hand and pulled me to the infirmary.

I slightly chuckled,

"What happened?" Turning her head back to me and asked.

"Nothing."

How long has it been since someone treated me like this?

Annie's POV:

The homeroom teacher wanted a team for an interschool debate competition and made the team with five members; But unfortunately, our fifth member is absent today because of personal issues. Hence teacher is deciding on the new fifth member now.

But no one is ready; hence she declared, " the one who is late will be the fifth member now." And that's when Ace enters the class.

"We got our fifth member." Our teacher said, pointing to Ace.

And in the end, Ace joined us as our fifth member. So our members are Ace, Dave, Rosh, Nalani and I.

We welcomed him to our team, and thus, our team is now ready.

Ace's POV:

Why do I have to be late today? "sigh." Even though it's just a team for others but for me, it's not just that. I could understand by that death stare they gave me. Not that I care about them or this team, but no one was happy about me joining their team except for Annie.

For now, I will try not to involve myself with them as much as possible, and that's the best possible situation that I could think of.

The competition is next week's Sunday 21-December and god knows what gonna happen now.
