My only family

"I don't want to be part of your so called family, I want to stay with you big bro" Rizie said hugging her brother's arm.

"Riz stay with them this is our family house so it your home too and they are your family too " Ethan said as he rubbed his sister's head.

"No big bro they're not my family and they will never be"Rizie said still hugging her brother's arm.

"Riz how can you say such a thing in front of everyone please stop this"Ethan said pulling himself away from her.

"No big bro you and sister Sarah are my only family because you guys always treat me well since when I was born, in my eyes you're my only family, you and sister Sarah " Rizie said as tears flowed from her eyes.

"OK fine you can stay with me only if you promise me you will be good" he said as he wiped her tears.

"I promise I'll be good just don't let me stay here anymore" she said ignoring the others in the room.

"That's my girl, go get your stuff let's leave " Ethan said as he watched Her leave. Then turning to Luke he said;

"I'm not done with you, you dare to hurt her you'll bear the consequences of what both you and your girlfriend did to her"

"Who did I hurt Ethan, I've never hurt anyone my entire life" he said wiping off the blood on his face.

"Really, you broke someone's heart and you are asking me who you hurt, shame on you" after saying this he went to help Rizie with her luggage. Rizie went to hug her sister and said.

"Big sis I'll miss you but you can come over to big bro's anytime OK I'll be expecting you" and then the dual left the yui mansion.

The next day Cali woke up brushed her teeth, took her bath and dressed up ready to leave for the office but remembered what happened the previous day. While making breakfast she couldn't help but think

'How can I show my face at the office today, how will people look at me, I know by now the news will spread like wild fire, huh...... God don't let me go alone'

"Rita.....,.... Rita breakfast is ready...... I have to go to the office see you when am back" picking up her bag she left.

While walking she saw a girl who was been bullied so she walked up to them then she heard them discussing.

First girl: see her even as she is from a wealthy family she still wear rags.

Second girl: well I don't think she has a mother no wonder she wears rag.

Third girl: I heard from my dad that her mother left her when she was a child.

Second girl : yes Rizie is cursed that why her mother left her, we can't let her join our group, who knows if she will curse us too. By this time Cali has already reached where they were so she said;

"Rizie where have you been,baby come to mommy, I've been so worried about you" she said as she pulled Rizie into a hug which made her burst into tears

First girl: I thought you said she doesn't have a mother.

Third girl:yes my dad told me her mother left her and her brother.

Second girl:then who is that.

Third girl: I don't know.

They said whispering among themselves.

"Baby why are you crying, did they bully you, don't worry mommy is here" then looking at the girls.

"Don't you have other things to do apart from bullying, now scram" she said and then the girls ran away. Rubbing her back she said;

"Feeling better? " she said still hugging her.

"Why did you do that? "Rizie said wiping her tears.

"Because you were in trouble, do you really think I'd leave just like that, I can't OK" looking around Cali asked;

"Why are you here all alone where's your mom" with tears rolling down her eyes Rizie said.

"I never had a mother,...... But now I have one" not knowing what Rizie was trying to say Cali said;

"Then go and stay with her, its not safe out here"

"I'm with her already, I want you to be my mom for reals, and please don't say no". Cali didn't know what to do because she was caught on the line, but seeing Rizie was about to cry she said

"OK fine I'll be your mom, now let's go its not safe out here "she said picking her up and carried her to the road to hail a cab but Rizie stopped her and said;

"Mom I have my own driver let me call him" bringing out her phone she failed her driver's number and told him her address and after a minute the driver came and the dual hopped in and Cali gave him her address and after few minutes they reached the office Como g out of the car she said to Rizie;

"Baby stay right there am just going to get my stuff from the office OK" she said but Rizie didn't let go of her arm.

"Mom can't I go with you"she said giving Cali the cute puppy dog eyes which she fell for;

"OK but don't let go of my arm OK " she said as she took Rizie's hand as they walked into the company.

While walking she noticed her follow workers gaze at her maliciously, some whispered and laughed at her. Ignoring the stares the dual walked straight to her office, bringing out her keys she found out that the lock was changed, she inserted her keys into the lock to be sure but the door was still locked she walked up to the office of a friend of hers and entered.

Su jin hearing his door being open without knocking was about to shout at the person who opened the door to his office but stopped when he saw his childhood friend by the door.

"Lili what's wrong are you OK" he said standing up from his seat and walked towards Cali.

"I'm fine it's just that I couldn't open my office did they ☹ change it"she said as she sat on the chair while carrying her baby. Su jin seeing a little girl with Cali said;

"Yes they gave me your stuff let me get it for you" he said still confused about the little girl. Rizie noticed the strange man staring at her curiously them she said to her new mother.

"Mom why is he staring at me like that, it's creepy"she said hugging her mother.

"Sorry baby he is just curious because he has not seen you before" she said laughing because she too didn't know that she has a daughter.

Hearing the little girl call Cali mom shock Su jin to the extent he stopped thinking for a while, getting back to earth he asked;

"Lili you have a daughter and you never told me, I'm disappointed in you"

"Am sorry su it's not what you think" she said looking at su jin. But something unexpected happened, Rizie knelt down holding his leg and said;

"Please don't be angry at momma she didn't mean to please forgive her, I'll take her punishment" Rizie said while holding su jin's leg which made the two adults in the room burst into a fit of laughter.

Picking her up su jin said;

"Am not angry at your mom OK, we were just joking around and I can't punish your mommy because........ She can be very scary"he said smiling then continued.

"So I have some candy with me, do you want some?"she nodded and said

"Can I have some?"

"Hmm here take all of them I really don't need it so you can have it"he said giving her packs of various candies.

"I guess this is goodbye, see you anytime I see you"Cali said as she carried her stuff with Rizie in front of her.

"Kk bye and bye riz" with that they left his office and started for the exit of the company.

While walking towards the exit she heard the voice of the least person she wanted to see.

"Isn't it Cali Chen the whore oh I see you are packing, well I pity the company that employs you"she said while laughing at her

"Mom who is she?"
