THE HINT

He clicked his tongue as He looked pissed.

*BAM*

An unexpected fist punches my right cheek making me stagger to the left a little. He aims the other fist for my face but it was within my speed range so I just caught with my right palm. I pressed tightly against the fist and applied my flame burning his skin little by little.

"KUAAAAAHH!!...."

He screams out from the hotness as He tries to retract his fist from my palm but I ain't letting go.

"If you want this to stop you should speak the truth, The girl you took where's She headed?"

He didn't say anything, But tear's were dripping from his eyes down his face. I'm currently feeling pity on him but this is no time to look pathetic cause Momoi's life is in danger.

He uses his other hand to grip my right hand as he pushes the fist I'm holding away. It slipped out and It was as red as a tomato. He is currently looking at the fist but I didn't give Him time to cool down. I quickly grabbed his neck raising him up and placing him against a tree, I gripped tightly against his throat as heat and the smell of a burnt skin began to become noticable.

"Now talk"

i said as I gradually increase the hotness, He tried to struggle holding my right arm with both of his hands. However what I wasn't expecting happened, A knife pierced through his head leading to instant death. I quickly let go of the Man's neck cause I wasn't expecting this.

"You didn't think I would just let you do as you like while I was here"

The man who's head got pierced by a knife was the man who always hid and not the one who placed me under an illusion.

"You people really are heartless, using people however you like, Momoi and her healing are not your's"

"What?, But they aren't her's either"

"HUH?!, What do you mean?"

"HA!, Did you really think we would want her for healing abilities?, If it was that every Deviant can heal even though not too fast"

"Then why are you kidnapping her and saying that her healing powers aren't her's?"

"You've been with her this past few months but you don't know that her ability is not 'Heal' but 'Steal'"

"She is able to take an ability from a Deviant and can also transfer it to another deviant, OR EVEN AN ORDINARY HUMAN!!"

I shot my flames at him but He ran to the opposite side I moved trying to follow him. I can't see him cause He is moving awkwardly around the forest but I can hear the sound of leaves which tells me He's running and it's also telling me where He's headed. I can see the end of the forest and the city, Well it's mostly the road and the walk way.

*PAH*

"Your partner that you killed already tried this twice...you didn't think it would work the third time did ya?"

I caught his hand that was coming for me by extending flame from my palm, It got on his jacket and it began to spread slowly but He rips off the jacket from the elbow part before that part got to that burnt stopping the fire from entering in. Looking at his arm He has tattoo all over his body and there isn't even a single space on that arm so I guess his entire body is covered in tattoos, Especially that eye ball on his palm, that weird I thought I remembered it being a closed eye.

The guys eyes went around the surrounding like He was looking for something. I think He is planning something as He breathes in real deep and then He looks at me, He stares for a second and his eye balls move to the left I quickly moved my eyes to look at what He was looking at and before I could look back at him He wasn't there however I was able to tell something from my peripheral vision that He went for a tree at my left hand side, My eyes moved slightly faster than him so I couldn't see him move and when I returned my eyes He had already jumped onto the tree heading for me. I moved backward for him to land raising my right arm to hit his face as soon as He lands.

However as He lands, He quickly moves his head backwards and aims his left fist for my face, I moved my head to the side but it passes by a hairs breadth. I raised my left foot aiming for his right rib but He quickly blocks with both of his arm as He staggered a little, He got pushed to the side and He was currently standing on the walk way. The kick creates some distance between us and He wiggles his wrist trying to reduce the pain. But I'm not giving him any chances as I rushed towards him and my fist passed his face almost scratching the tip of his nose. He moved his left foot backward as he moved his head backward. I smirked as I released my fist for his face like an automatic Gatling Gun non stop for almost 30 seconds. He mostly moved his neck to dodge some and just blocks with his palm for the rest.

"Ugh screw this"

I got tired of it using my ability so I aimed my feet for his rib however he just moved back, I knew He would do that since that Is one of the natural instincts so I released my flames with my kick which slides through the air. But when He moved away from me to avoid my kick before he actually jumped, when He saw my flame coming when he was still mid air he just raised his feet which made the flame pass under.

I rotated diagonally releasing fire from my feet as soon as He landed, but before the fire could hit him he used his palm to push him self sideways. I landed on my right palm making land upside down with my head close to ground and my feet's above,

I didn't want to waste this opportunity so I rotated my feet around releasing my flames from it. When He landed sideways He was already squatting I failed to see that when I turned upside down. He glides his right leg over the floor aiming to trip me cause I was standing on one hand, but I was slightly faster as i saw what He was aiming for and pushed my self up with that hand about to land on my feet as his feet glides over my palm by a hairs breadth.

The guy turns around by placing both of his palm on the floor raising his body upward like He was trying to do a push up and aimed the sole of his left foot at me as I landed. But-

"Huh?"

I tried to catch his left foot coming for me however my hands passed through like He turned intangible.

*BAM*

An unexpected kick comes at the side of my head causing me to stagger. I was hit real hard, that it made my ear vibrate causing my left ear to make the ring sound.

*BAM*

"Guah!"

Another hit comes for my face while I was lost in thought about the last kick. The punch broke my nose that I'm now having problem breathing, I could feel the blood dripping out from my nose trailing down straight over my mouth. Making come to a realization.

'This is all an illusion'

But when did I get trapped in, but first of all how did I get trapped in. I knew his strength from the kick was weird but his blow to my nose made me realize that I'm in an illusion. Since I can't find how or when I got trapped in, I should escape how I did last time.

*VWOO*

I set my body ablaze however nothing changed, or could it be that I'm not under his illusion and this is all real?. Then if so where did He disappear to?, He was right in front of me when He punched me but now He's no where to be found, like He disappeared into thin air how He did in the former illusion.

"Did you think setting your body ablaze will free like the last time"

"Yeah, But I guess i was wrong...how long have I been under your illusion"

"And why should I tell you that?"

Then that means I will have to figure it out my self. Since He placed me under an illusion and I can't escape why doesn't he just kill my real body?, why did the flame wake me up the last time?.

'Aaah!, So that's how it was'

"Ha..hahaha, I've figured it all out now"

"Your powers, do you mind if I test my theory, But it would be a little boring like that so let's have a bet...if my theory is correct you will tell me where Momoi is but if I'm wrong, Well there's nothing worst than death since you were gonna kill me anyway deal?"
