Chapter # 08 : Doubts

She gazed at him in disbelief as if she heard something wrong

" I said stand up," Emir said coldly, she hurriedly stood up Emir turned his face to Eda and said " Miss Paşa you can join us as an assistant architect " Emir said professionally, this time he wasn't saying anything to make her more embarrassed.

Eda gazed at him excitedly, she really wanted to jump in excitement and shout out loudly, but unfortunately, she couldn't do this at that time, so she smiled " thank you so much, I will work hard  " Eda said formally

" Hmm ok but don't be late again, James will provide you all information about your designation and office facilities . Meet him after you leave here" He said

Eda nodded and went out to the room, she sighed heavily , the man who had brought her here was standing outside waiting for her, she saw him and went to him .

James looked at her and smiled"So did you get the job? "

" Yeah and he wants me to meet James to take information about designation and office facilities, Could you please tell me where can I  meet James," She said, actually in that time she forgot to ask his name

James chuckled and said " I'm James "

" Oh, I'm sorry,  I didn't know, I forgot to ask your name " She apologized

" It's okay, not a big problem" He said

"First you have to go to the employment management department where you have to submit some personal information and some important documents. And after that, the employment contract will be signed, after which you will get all the office facilities " James explained, Eda nodded and went with to the employees management department, she submitted all information and important documents that she brought with herself and signed the contract, before signing the contract she read it carefully it was a normal employee and management contact, James gave the copy of contract to Eda .

" Congratulations now you are going to work with us, let me tell you about you office facilities and the day of joining" James said

" Thank you so much "

" Our company will provide you an apartment in Hazal plaza, a car for personal use and medical protection "

" This is too much, i mean salary is so good and these facilities Will they rent all of them from me? " She asked hurriedly because she never got this kind of facilities in previous jobs.

" Miss paşa Our company is the best company at this time and you are not an ordinary employee in our company but an assistant architect.All these facilities are less, after seeing your performance, the company will provide you with even better facilities And you can join us from Monday, you should do your apartment shifting before that. You will receive your apartment key at reception" James explained

After getting all information about she left for Firuze's coffee shop, she worked there as a manager.

" Firuze come on hug me i got this job " Eda said while waving her to to Firuze, Firuze came and hugged her quickly, Eda told her about all facilities that she got from her job

" Congratulations sweetheart"

" Thank you Firuze but "

" But what you got your dream job now what are thinking about sweetooo " Firuze said while patting her head

" Isn't there something strange in this, see, everything is happening so quickly " Eda shared her doubts with Firuze but Firuze ignored her doubts and comforted her " Nothing strange in it , You have worked hard and now this is your gift "

Eda nodded and told her about her situation, that what happened in the interview, hearing her Firuze started to laugh foolishly while hugging her stomach

"Don't laugh " Eda said annoyingly

" I'm sorry but it is fantastic, you kissed your boss and you are going to work with him," he said while still laughing

" I said stop, I'm already embarrassed," She said while pouting

"Ok, by the way, congratulation, you are going to work as an assistant architect in Rockverse International it's amazing," she said, highlighting the company name 'Rockverse international'

Seeing her getting normal Firuze again teased her " And also going to be a girlfriend of Emir kaya the C.E.O of Rockverse International "

Eda punched lightly on her chest, " ouch, what did I say wrong "

" I already said to you that stop all this talk, I'm not going to be his girlfriend, he already has a girlfriend" She paused and moved towards her as if she was going to tell her something important " and you know who is his girlfriend, Glossy the great model," She said

" Oh really that model, I knew she is your favorite model right, isn't she? " Firuze said, her words made her remind of what, her boss said when she excitedly said that she likes her, OOh poor Eda !

" no I don't like her," She said and averted her gaze

" Oh are you okay, you like her, Don't you? ", Firuze asked while raising her eyebrows

" Yeah but, I don't like her anymore," She said  

She gave Firuze the best chance to tease her.

" Owwww are you jealous? That is because she is Emir's lady love " She teased her

" No no it's not like that, you are getting me wrong, I don't care, and stop talking rubbish, I'm going home, I'm already late," She said while taking her handbag from the table, she stood up from there.

" Okay Okay, you can go, but tell me, you have prepared your clothes for tomorrow or not? "

" No, not yet, " she said

" I will go home first and then I will think about what to do with clothes"

" Okay," Firuze said, hugging her she said goodbye to her best friend, and after that Eda left for home.

After coming home she went directly to her room and went for a cold shower, refreshing herself she went to the kitchen to make something for herself but to her great surprise, The food was already prepared. Before that, whenever she came from work or sometimes in the evening, she had to cook for herself. Her mother only cook for her family and this was very surprising.

She was thinking that Her mother had cooked for her or it is leftover food, her thoughts became disturbed when she heard a famine voice from behind.

" You came home late," the Woman said while crossing her hands over her chest.

' Whether I come late or early, why is she asking, what does it mean, yes, I forgot, she must have come to ask if I got the job or not.' Eda Thought while gazing at her irrationally

" You went for an interview, does the interview take so long?, I think you were giving them a demo as well." She inquired her as a careful mom but Eda knew that she just want to ask about that she got a job r not.

" I went for an important work after that by the way I'm cooking something for myself, would like to eat? " She said to make herself free from her questions.

" What was the important work ?? and why do you need to cook for yourself, I have already cooked for you," She said

" Oh but I don't have money to pay for this food, " She said while washing the frying pan

Her mother opened her mouth as if she got shocked by her sentence " You don't need to pay for it, I am your mother, I have raised you, so what if I didn't give birth to you, I would consider you as my children, you are my daughter. I charge you rent and food only to make you responsible " She said worriedly as if she was concerned about her.

it was very surprising for her mother never talked her in this way , she was acting like ,that she was her real mom , it wasn't easy to digest .

Eda put frying pan on the stove , now it was very hard to control anger for her .

She was doing jobs and paying for rent and food when she became sixteen, now she became twenty-five years old woman , isn't she responsible enough ?
