Sensing my discomfort, he stopped hating me too. Tilting his body to face mine, he exposed his slow smile making me enjoy it too.

"Everything will be fine okay? it's just a normal conversation with mom so don't freak out," he said assuring me.

"Please, promise that you are going to sit beside me," I said urging him to do so.

I love Nicholas's sincerity especially considering the energy that he used to respond.

"Yes, Sweetie pie, you can even sit on my thighs if it so pleases you," he teased.

His words made me laugh because they were so absurd, I couldn't even believe that he said that, it was so strange.

As if I was been manipulated by a remote, I swirled my hand around him pulling him tightly in a warm embrace.

"Hey! be careful, you might grind my bones away," he teased.

I flashed my white teeth at him while releasing his tanned muscles.

"I have gained some self-esteem, let's be going, darling," I mumbled.
