Nadya Kuznetsov

Nadya Kuznetsov was a merchant from the neighbouring kingdom of Litkesh.

Nadya just like any other merchant, she had just landed in Isthmus town in Azuhai kingdom when she saw the ploughs and farming tools being sold out to the queueing farmers who were now rowdy because the tools were so few while the farmers were many, the warriors were finding it a difficult time to control the farmers.

They could only ask the farmers to share the tools for now as more would be coming in the future because the blacksmiths never rested because of the huge demand for the farming tools throughout the kingdom.

"What is going on there? Why so rowdy?" As a person who liked eavesdropping, Nadya Kuznetsov came down from her horse and joined the queue. While in the line, she came to know the functions of the different farming tools that were being handed out to the farmers.

Truthfully, Nadya was awed by the tools as from their form and shape, a sane person could already tell what the tools could do, not to mention that the farmers who had already gotten their tools were demonstrating their functions curiously before going back to their homes with a complacent look.

"I have to get one of the farm tools!" Nadya declared in her heart but when she saw where she was(the long queue) and where the knights handing out the tools were, she could only shook her head disappointedly because the tools were already getting finished causing some farmers in the line to abandon the queue and head back to their homes with gritted teeth.

"There are no more tools to be handed out!" The agricultural officer who was spearheading the selling of the tools hollered expressionlessly.

The local blacksmiths who were not in any guilds had also made some tools that were homologous to their original counterparts but the prices at which those blacksmiths were selling those stuffs chased away the customers as they could just line up and get the same products at reasonable prices from the agricultural officer, not to mention that the products created by the local blacksmiths were not of quality as those created by the blacksmith guilds which further made the farmers disinterested. It was only the desperate farmers who would chose to buy such low quality merchandise.

Make no mistake, the agricultural officers could not hike the prices of the merchandise being sold because the prices of these tools were fixed and it had already been known throughout Azuhai how much an ox drawn plough or a hoe was selling at. Moreover, serious actions would be taken if it was reported that the officers hiked the prices of these tools for their personal gain.

"Oooh no!" The farmers in the line could not help but lament. They could not imagine that they failed to secure even a single tool. This was utterly crushing.

"It was anticipated." Nadya murmured to herself. She had heard from the people that it was king Virtya who created these farming tools, this rendered Nadya surprised because many leaders were not that concerned with the welfare of the peasants and farmers alike or they could not be interested in silly occupations like blacksmithing.

The majority of the leaders were always concerned about staying on the throne, women, fighting the enemies and the well-being of the nobles, it was thus strange to find a young king like Virtya fabricating farming tools for the farmers instead of creating domineering war weapons.

However, that was not for Nadya to care about, she had decided to go to the capital to see if she could be able to buy the farming tools in bulk so that she could resell them in Litkesh kingdom and if she was hapful, she could go ahead and open up her own blacksmithing guild where she would create similar items. It was not that complicated, right?

Just like that, many of the merchants from other kingdoms and the the spies had the same thought as Nadya.
