"Development Team, you scripted a plot for the NPCs?"

Super Tomato watched the NPCs spring intensely to life and that was his first reaction.

But he quickly realized that wasn't the main point.

The real focus was, "It's an event trigger, the NPCs are calling reinforcements!"

The very thing Super Tomato guessed was certainly not overlooked by the players on the scene. The dog that had pounced on the modified human police viciously bit off the communicator, and a Tibetan Mastiff was shouting:

"Grab the communicators! Don't let them call for backup!"

But soon a cat yelled, "Use your dog brains! We're surrounded by robots! Are we going to block their signals with our heads?"

"So what do we do?"

"Duh! Grab weapons!"

The law enforcement robots and modified human police officers only used non-lethal weapons, but that didn't mean they didn't have other weapons on them, not to mention the entire checkpoint.
