Waking up.

"Ugh" I groan as I wake up.'Man that sucked' I thought while looking around the room and I found my brothers lying near me in hospital beds.

'Did someone take us to the hospital, and what was up with that dream. It felt so real' I wondered when suddenly a voice I was unfamiliar with rang in my head.

As soon as this was said, I suddenly had what felt like an epiphany. I instantly understood how the system worked and what it's capabilities were.As I learned it's capabilities and it's potential I felt exalted. 'Looks like I'm gonna have fun in life. And it seems like that dream was real as well. Although I don't know whether my brothers were there as well or not.' As I ponder over this question another voice rings out.

[I WELCOME THE HOST TO THE CURSE KING SYSTEM. INITIALISATION AND KNOWLEDGE INJECTION WILL START NOW. PLEASE BE AWARE. THIS WILL HURT. A LOT.]

I couldn't even process the message properly before a bolt of electricity ran through my spine and I passed out instantly.

"Hey, wake up smartass" a familiar voice rang in my ear.

"Oh, hey John" I groaned, groggily waking up."Uh, that bloody hurt." I stated.

"What? The accident or the dream?" asked Leo from another corner of the room.

"The system boot-up actually. I'm a bloody curse-sorcerer hybrid now. Pain in the ass if you ask me." I said, wondering why I'd need so much power in the first place. The other system was plenty to set me up for life already. I don't think I'm ever going to need to use such a thing.

"Are you talking about jjk?" asked John interrupting my train of thought.

"Yeah I think so" I replied. "I got another one too. It's called the Siren King System. Though for such a grand name all it does is just make me really good at singing." I said downplaying my system's capabilities.

"Why call that system a pain in the ass though?" Inquired my younger brother.

"Don't have a use for it" I explained. "Speaking of systems, what did you guys get, in that dream space, or whatever that was?"

"Nunya" John stated."The Nunya System?" I questioned. "None ya fuckin business, moron" John said back.

"Oi, I told you about mine didn't I? Where's the trust man. I'm your elder brother." I rightfully say.

"First, I didn't ask about your system. You blabbed about it. Second, 'trust' isn't in my lexicon.And Third, I don't care." John replied all in one breath.

"Oh, so fuck you too then" I retort.

"Language, Arnold" comes a comment from the corner. "What. If he's old enough to drink he's old enough to be cussed out." I explained.'Damn, he really has a soft spot for John. Well not like I don't understand why after what happened that night.' I think. It's part of the reason I let him mess with me without giving him a verbal assault after all.

"It's not about age. You don't insult your family, not matter how lightly. And John, what goes on in your life is your brothers' business as well. No matter how little you care." Leo berates the both of us.

"Sorry bro, might have overreacted a bit." apologised John.

"No problem buddy. Oh, by the way what are your systems Leo?" I say trying to move on from the conversation.

"Ah mine, well they're the My-" as John began, a nurse suddenly entered the room.

"Ah three of you are awake. You three had quite a bad accident." she began to state the obvious."Well you're better now. You can be discharged in a week. You're lucky the one who brought you here paid for your stay. Although expensive this hospital is the best in all of metropolis." She adds, casualty dropping a bombshell.

"""Fucking where?""" we ask in unison.
