Kalibak

[Arnold POV]

After traversing through those hallways for what felt like forever, we entered a large central room with what seemed to be an elevator in the centre of it.

"We have to go through this elevator. The central room is on a lower floor. I'll hack into the elevator's system but it'll take a bit" Cyborg said.

Batman spoke up saying "Hurry up. We don't have much time. We have to shut this portal-"

As he was saying this the doors of the elevator suddenly opened, and in entered a 6ft9in tall male, with black hair and red eyes, holding a club and wearing nothing but green shorts. He was accompanied by another group of parademons.

He spoke up,in a booming voice "So you are the bugs that get in the way of my father's plans. I Kalibak, shall personality cut off your heads and present them to the great Darkseid."

I didn't miss this chance to throw in a jab "Oh yes, please try if you can. Just next time, please change out of your diapers before intimidating someone."

Well, it seems he took great offence to that. Oh god…People have just gotten way too sensitive these days. No one can take a simple joke.

Anyways, where was I? Oh yeah, the big idiot began to charge towards me.

"It seems he didn't appreciate my advice." I commented as he got close to me. The others got their guard up as well, intending to face the enemy.

But just as he got close to me, raising his arm, hellbent on bashing my head in with his bare fists, I simply clapped my hands.

★CLAP★

He was instantly transported to where the horde of parademons accompanying him were, causing his punch to come into contact with a poor parademon, obliterating it instantly.

As this happened I took my «dragon bone» and used it to slice the parademon in front of me into two symmetrical pieces.

"Kiddo, that is why your Father never liked you. You've got to think before you act." I said, infuriating Kalibak further.

"YOU DARE! I WILL KILL YOU FIRST!" He screamed as he rushed towards me again.

I instructed the others "Batman and Cyborg, handle the parademons and hack the elevator. Wonder Woman, you're with me."

"Got it" said Cyborg.

"Roger" said Wonder Woman.

Batman just began to rush towards the parademons.

★CLAP★

I clap my hands once more, causing me and Kalibak to switch places, after which I immediately rush him while his back is turned.

As he turns back to face me, I slash at him, all while imbuing my attack with cursed energy.

Sadly it doesn't have the intended effect, as although blade penetrates his skin, the wound heals almost instantly.

By this time, wonder Woman tackles him, slamming him into a wall. He retaliates by singing his club at her, but right before he can, I once again clap, switching our places and causing him to got nothing but air.

I begun to think up a plan to defeat him 'It seems I won't be able to beat him easily. I'll need a black flash on top of full thrusters to deal with him.'

Wonder Woman comments "You sure are full of tricks."

I respond "A mere trick in my basket of tools."

"YOU ARE ANNOYING" says Kalibak, seemingly not having learned his lesson.

"I'll stop him from hitting us, you'll have to create an opening for me to deal the final blow" I instruct Wonder Woman.

She nods in agreement as Kalibak once again attacks, this time swinging his club at me.

★CLAP★

I clap my hands again causing us to switch positions which gives Wonder Woman an opening to deck him in the face with a right hook.

He once again tries to retaliate by swinging his club at her but instead finds himself crushing another parademon's skull, before I once again clap my hands, and Kalibak finds himself getting an uppercut by Wonder Woman.

She apparently hits him so hard that he flies through the air and crashes into a ceiling.

"Wonder Woman, hit me with all you've got." I tell her.

She agrees and rushes at me, but just before she can hit me I clap, causing her fist to make contact with Kalibak's stomach, causing him to crash straight into a wall.

He still somehow gets up, even after getting beaten up that badly. Honestly, he's impressed me with his durability.

'Id still one shot him with «Cleave» though.' I say in my head, regretting having exhausted my cursed technique so soon.

That guy, still undeterred tries to rush at me again, this time intending to grab me, only to get roundhouse kicked by Wonder Woman sending him back. This blow seems to strike a particular nerve as he speaks up while looking at me.

"I'm tired of your tricks!" he says angrily and holds out the head of his mace.

It head begins glowing, telling me that a laser type attack is incoming.

I cook up a counterattack, thinking 'Lets see if he falls for it.'

As he is just about to fire off this attack, I once again hold up my hands, intending to clap.

'EL, buy and use a black flash coupon, would you.'

He aims his weapon at me, and as he is about to fire, I clap.

★CLAP★

He screams out "Like hell I'd fall for that again" and turns around, seemingly thinking I'd be behind him.

His laser weapon shoots, vaporising the wall behind him, and probably some of the rooms next to ours too.

I say out loud "Just because I clapped doesn't mean I'll teleport, moron."

He turns around to find me, but it's already too late. I'm behind him with the «Dragon bone» in hand, it's thrusters on full force and cursed energy channeling through my body.

I slash at him, and the moment I do a black lightning streaks across the room as a word flashes through my mind.
