The tension in the room was palpable as Laura, the woman who had driven a wedge between Ranuchca and Jamel, walked into the restaurant with a bright smile. Her glow was unmistakable, sending a shockwave through the hearts of those who knew the truth behind her relationship with Jamel.

Laura braced herself, took a deep breath, and revealed her secret. "Ranuchca, I'm pregnant."

The four of them were silent for a moment, processing the weight of her announcement. Then, Mari snarled, "You're disgusting, you know that?"

Tears filled Laura's eyes, but she refused to look away. "I never meant for any of this to happen, Ranuchca. I didn't come here to hurt you or steal your husband. But what's done is done, and I need you to know that I want to do what's best for this child."
