Chapter 30

"I...I did this didn't I?" Eric whispered pain in his voice.

I didnt answer but lightly ran my fingers over the thin scars remembering how low in life I'd been.

"I noticed them earlier but.....I didn't really understand how they got there till I found the knifes all locked in a cabinet at your apartment. Andy had looked at me so disgusted I wondered what could I have possibly done. Then I understood. You....you hurt yourself because of me."

"You were all I had left Eric" I whispered knowing there was nothing I could say that would wash away the guilt that he felt.

"I don't deserve you Katy. I should let you go so you could find another man who's worthy enough" I gasped in horror feeling tears gather in my eyes.
